~ A quirky fantasy tale about the cannon fodder folk ~
"Welcome to the Hive, fresh meat. All recruiting worker goblins must be this tall to die for the Goblin Leader’s filthy army. You’ll be distributed the standard issue loincloth and assigned to your first toiling duty. I’d learn to craft some better equipment asap, if I were you."
~ Take everything your sticky mitts can get a hold of ~
"Your number one task, as a goblin worker, is to make our new Hive thrive like the glory days. Everything you find, grab it. Humans have left a ton of useful crap just lying around. Smash, rip, and loot. Don’t stop there — we need all kinds of materials for the Hive too. Mine, chop, and gather. And don’t forget the organs of your fallen enemies… they make fine cuisine."
~ Fortify your Hive and grow stronger alongside it ~
"Sharing your loot is... optional — though it does help achieve our common goals. All valuables and little shiny things will be contributed to the Goblin Leader, right? Contribute for the good of the Hive, and we’ll make sure the Quartermaster provides everything you might need. Nice new facilities and goods will make the daily grind just a bit more tolerable."
~ Raise from the dingy thickets ~
"Pioneer these new and uncharted lands with great caution. Even if we’re not yet at the bottom of the food chain, we’re getting pretty close. And from what I’ve seen, our neighbors are getting uglier by the minute.
Which reminds me of your secondary objective. Try not to die for Skiggarath’s sake. Our mortuary expenses have reached their all-time high. The Goblin Leader is running low on workers as it is. All that highly lethal backbreaking toiling won’t just happen on its own."
~ Play solo or with up to 4 goblin friends online ~
"To make your work more jolly, I would suggest you gather a crew of more or less trusted cronies. They might be worthless dirtbags like you, but there is still strength in numbers as they say. However, their main task will be to retrieve your stuff for the next guy from your very likely dead body.
NOW GET TO WORK!"

GOBLINS!
Had a very good time exploring with my friends. Bosses had entertaining mechanics. The base of the game is pretty solid. Hope they keep on adding more content and difficulty. Thanx for the game :)
I really enjoy **Goblin’s Die**. The game is very nice, fun to play, and has a lot of potential. The gameplay is enjoyable and the overall idea is great. One thing that would make the game even better would be the option to join public servers or other players’ games more easily. It would be great to have a server browser or matchmaking system so players can find and join others. Also, the game could use more explanations, tutorials, or guides, especially for new players. Some mechanics are not very clear at first, so more in-game guidance would help a lot. Overall, I had a very positive experience with the game and I recommend it. With more guides and better multiplayer joining options, it could become even better.
Really lovely game with a lot of humor and a nice, smooth gameplay (once I've got used to the camera moving, holding permanently right mouse button feels a bit odd). Love the music, too! Didn't find any bugs yet, too. Recommended! Linux Users: Runs with my standard Steam Settings (Proton 10.04) without tinkering out of the box on my system (Linux Mint).
It's pretty good so far! Probably a lot more fun and chaos with friends. Playing solo means that you can't really take advantage of a lot of the gear. With a group, I think people would have fun playing different roles like healer, tank, dps. Jumping puzzles are a big part of the content, sometimes fun and sometimes tedious and confusing. Not sure how to feel about the food/healing system. Even if you are eating the best foods it feels like your regen never makes it worth it. If your health gets low, you have to waste a lot of your buff time just waiting to regen or spamming potions and snacks. That problem would probably feel less frustrating with a group because a healer probably makes for less down time. Some of the bosses were pretty fun and challenging even when playing solo. The last level that is available in early access (sewers) is pretty frustrating to navigate and not in a fun way. I felt like I had to backtrack way too many times just to find one more hidden route to be able to progress. It felt like I was getting nowhere until I finally found that last path and then I was was like "oh... I guess that is it." The goblin hive is a good idea and I think there is more that can be done to build on the experience. It was fun upgrading things, but I think it was too linear. It would be cool to see more variety in the choices of what you could build and upgrade and how it affects your playthrough and abilities. Speaking of abilities, they are pretty basic and do very little to add variety to the combat. I've noticed that some abilities aren't working correctly, seemingly due to not properly registering and possibly getting caught on terrain meshing. Hopefully development doesn't just add a few more levels and call it good. I think there could be a gem here if it is given the care that it deserves.
It’s like If Valheim and Warcraft made a baby together. Just right amount of challenging but fun when played solo but with friends its the chaotic funtimes hours
I'm giving this game a negative review because it seems unfinished and it seems as if it's been abandoned after a few months. Maybe the developer is busy with other things, and that's understandable. Using the controller is broken. The game still shows the keyboard buttons to press while using the controller and screens behind other screens are being highlighted. I played it with the keyboard and mouse and got bored quickly every time I started it up. Needs work. This game desperately needs full controller support in order to be fun. That's just my opinion. I'll definitely remove my review when these glaring issues are taken care of. Peace.
I have not gotten to get into it long but from early play i can tell this is already gonna be fun. You gotta love RPGs
