About
Goblin Goopmaxxing is a dark comedy sandbox story about brewing bizarre potions and experimenting on unfortunate goblin specimens.
Does the goblin look sad because you turned it into a disgusting abomination? Just drop it into the meat grinder!
Every item in Goblin Goopmaxxing can be brewed into a potion with a completely unique effect. Want to turn a goblin body-pillow into a potion? Go ahead! I don't know what it'll do, but it'll probably disfigure the goblin in horrifying ways!

A sausage potion that grows a third leg? A chair potion that turns the goblin into a chair goblin? A goblin baby potion that does another crazy thing that you'll just have to find out when you play Goblin Goopmaxxing?! The possibilities are endless...

Potions interact with each other in ways that you never expected, turning the once pristine looking goblin specimen into a horribly disfigured monster. If it doesn't meet the collectors requirements, just drop it in the meat grinder! Maybe hit it with a flail 100 times before that! Or shoot it with an AK-47! Did I tell you you can shoot an AK-47 in Goblin Goopmaxxing? Now you know!

Goblins don't have rights so you can do what you want with them! If you're feeling hungry why don't you throw a gnome into a woodchipper to turn him into a sausage? You can in Goblin Goopmaxxing!

Do as the collector says, you don't want to make him mad, do you?

I usually love games like this, and the puzzle/discovery aspects of it are incredibly fun, but i just can't get over the heavy insinuation that the goblins are being sexually abused/graped when you complete an "order". If it was just an evil dude killing goblins that'd be one thing, but making sex crime jokes is exactly what desensitizes people to real world crimes (recall a famous rapper who was quickly forgotten and memed out of prison?). If you don't care about that, then you've got hours of fun in a really quirky style to look forward to!
Really.. really unecessary aspect ruined it.
I was prepped to give this a positive review, but certain interactions with your "Boss" (the narrator, in the machine to progress through each Order) had increasingly uncomfortable allusions, which culminated at one interaction being my personal breaking point to negative. If you don't mind the conflation of "dark, comedic fantasy must mean SA content is appropriate for shock value", Goopmaxxing is genuinely a funny little experience. It's just that this unecessary addition turned me right off, and I've pended for a refund. Goopmaxxing features multiple allusions to SA enacted on goblin test subjects. At first, the dialogue is vague enough that you could reasonably assume it's only referring to the slavery/physical abuse aspects - which play into the sort of dark comedy capitalistic dystopian backdrop through exaggerated dehumanization. That line gets drawn more blatantly in one later order - the one that had me quit was (spoilered for content):
Create a goblin with a big head, no teeth Your boss wants this goblin "to blow off steam with" On delivery, they then immediately complain of syphilis-like symptoms - specifying "burning below the waist" The immediate following order is for a goblin to "help them cool off (down there)"
I get the point of dark comedy insofar as physical experimentation, but the subtle-to-blatant references to SA are completely unecessary. Again, if you can look past that, you might like it as a sandbox experience to mess around with.
not reading the other negative reviews was an error. gross
If you are a soft, sensitive, goblin loving loser who will get offended by Steam reviews and refuse to play this masterpiece as a result, please never go outside and preferably avoid ever speaking to me thank you
item cloner goes brrrrrrrr and it makes me smack my big belly and go HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR DAYV DUN IT AGAIN! every single time. 10/10 on just that alone. the goop is cool too i guess
idk why i put this game on my wishlist honestly it looked funny, goofy, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and weird, but the sexual aspects just really ruined any amount of interest i had playing the game i just felt gross, and regretted ever putting this game on my wishlist it feels like a fetish game, honestly - i don't know why throwing potions at goblins to turn them into abominations had to have a sexual tone to it
Listening to the cries of the poor goblins brings me great joy. Very fun. I think there's also potential for this game to have a VR Version, that might be even better!
I deleted every other game after i played goblin goopmaxxing and decided to dedicate the rest of my life to it. Totally worth it. My wife left me
The goblins deserved what they got.
i torture goblins to establish elf superiority
