Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

That's a great idea
Fun concept and a nice set-and-forget idler while your doing other things around the house. Developer is also very active in the Discord and open to suggestions on where to improve and add to the game. Beat it in about 40 hours, with most of that being passive play.
One of the best bases for an idle out there and dev is super open to hearing feedback. Great game to have on in the background as well

Goal Idle is an Early Access incremental game developed and published by Royue Games that takes the universal appeal of football and blends it with the satisfying progression systems that define the idle genre. Rather than focusing on team management or realistic sports simulation, the game builds its identity around a simple premise: score goals, earn money, and use that income to expand an ever-growing operation. It is an idea that sounds modest on paper, but one that proves surprisingly effective thanks to a constant stream of unlocks and upgrades that keep players engaged over time. At the beginning, Goal Idle keeps things intentionally straightforward. Players launch footballs toward a net and are rewarded for every successful shot. Before long, those earnings can be reinvested into stronger balls, improved efficiency, and automated systems that dramatically increase production. The game does an admirable job of introducing mechanics gradually, ensuring that newcomers to the idle genre are never overwhelmed. Every few minutes presents a new objective, whether it is unlocking a better ball type, boosting shot value, or expanding overall output. This sense of progression forms the backbone of the experience and creates the familiar "just one more upgrade" feeling that idle game fans actively seek. A standout feature is the automation system. Helpers eventually take over much of the work, turning Goal Idle from an active clicker into a management-focused experience. Watching dozens of balls continuously fly across the screen while profits climb at an increasingly absurd rate is undeniably satisfying. The addition of skills and upgrade trees adds a small but welcome layer of decision-making. Some investments provide steady returns, while others encourage players to save for larger payoffs later in a run. Although the game never becomes especially complex, it offers enough choices to make progression feel earned rather than entirely passive. The Prestige mechanic also contributes significantly to the game's longevity. By allowing players to reset their progress in exchange for permanent bonuses, Goal Idle embraces one of the most successful formulas in the incremental genre. Prestige systems are often what separate memorable idle games from forgettable ones, and Royue Games has implemented one that encourages experimentation and replayability. Subsequent runs feel faster and more rewarding, creating a cycle where players continuously refine their approach while chasing increasingly ambitious milestones. From a presentation standpoint, Goal Idle adopts a colorful pixel-art style that complements its laid-back atmosphere. The interface remains clean and readable even when the screen becomes crowded with activity, which is particularly important for a title designed to be left running for extended periods. While the football theme is mostly aesthetic rather than mechanical, it provides enough personality to distinguish the game from countless fantasy- or sci-fi-themed idle titles currently available on Steam. The game's low hardware requirements and support for Steam Cloud and achievements further reinforce its accessibility. As with many Early Access projects, there are limitations that become more apparent after several hours of play. The gameplay loop, while enjoyable, can become repetitive once the novelty of progression begins to fade. Players expecting extensive strategic depth or meaningful narrative elements will likely find the experience too simplistic. Additionally, the current content offering leaves room for future expansion, and much of the game's long-term appeal will depend on how Royue Games continues to support it with updates. Fortunately, the existing framework is solid enough to suggest that additional systems and features could significantly enhance the experience over time. Ultimately, Goal Idle succeeds by understanding exactly what it wants to be. It is not an attempt to revolutionize idle gaming, nor is it trying to deliver an authentic football experience. Instead, it provides a relaxing and addictive gameplay loop built around constant rewards, automation, and incremental growth. For players who enjoy watching numbers climb while optimizing a steadily expanding machine, Goal Idle offers several hours of entertaining progression and the promise of more to come as development continues. Rating: 7/10
Dev is nice and responsive, for a new game that just came out, there is tons of potential, join the discord and give your suggestions as well, excited to see more!
The game structure, which starts with basic objectives and gradually expands to upgrades, support characters, and new skills, makes the gameplay engaging without feeling overly complex. The game already has a solid structure and plenty of potential for future content. It feels nice to leave it running in the background and then return to continue improving your setup. If you enjoy relaxed leisure games with gradual progression, it's definitely worth it.
Fun idle game in early access getting updates added frequently. Has unlockable skill tree and international leaderboard to see how u and ur country are doing compared to others.
