Gnomes and Knights

fun little game, im enjoying it so far. also i like kittens

The vibe that the game is trying to achieve is amazing and personally I love it, but the gameplay is boring, you go around and destroy various objects to find the gnomes that you need to catch to get to the next level (all of this with the help of a compass). The problem is that MAJORITY of the gameplay is just YOU (the player) destroying mushrooms playing hot and cold until you find 1 gnome and even then you can easily lose the gnome, sooooooooo back to destroying mushrooms. In between searching you go around and talk to 1 npc (1 for each level) that have some cryptic dialogue, It's interesting from a world building standpoint since It doesn't give you much information, but personally I find the dialogue a bit lacking since you only talk once to the npc's and that's it, no more dialogue GOTTA GET BACK TO MUSHROOM PICKING. I get that it's just a whimsical game to pass the time that focuses mostly on the vibe (in which you can piss and fart as much as your little heart desires might I add) but for 5$ I expected a little more dialogue I guess :/ Also WHO THE ♥♥♥♥ would buy a DLC that adds just a guy to the base game FOR 20$, yeah no thanks.

Music and graphics are nice but the gameplay is ass. You're better off going on a hike with some dungeon synth on.
