About
Inspired by games such as: Ready or Not, Ground Branch, CoD: Modern Warfare and Insurgency: Sandstorm. GERONIMO is a highly realistic, tactical and immersive CQB shooter that has been built from the ground up for Virtual Reality. Play Solo, or with your friends and carry out your operations through our missions, some even inspired by real world raids.
Whether deploying solo or with a full 6-player squad, Geronimo brings unforgiving tactical shooter gameplay into VR, where careful movement, clear communication, and calculated teamwork are essential. Train with your team in dedicated practice environments, including shooting ranges with dynamic targets and customizable killhouses built for refining your tactics before the real mission begins.
In GERONIMO, your equipment is built around how you want to operate. Shape your operator’s look, choose your clothing and armor, then fine-tune your weapons and rig with a high level of control. Position pouches where they make sense, configure your vest for the role you’re playing, and set up each weapon platform with the attachments and layout that fit your style.
Every choice has a practical impact once you’re in VR. A heavier setup can slow you down and make long engagements more demanding. Poor optic placement can make target acquisition harder. A full-length rifle may give you reach in open spaces, but become awkward when clearing tight rooms. Your loadout is not just cosmetic — it defines how you move, fight, and survive.
Every weapon is built with a focus on physical interaction, mechanical detail, and believable handling in VR. Firearms are not treated as simple props — they are systems you manipulate by hand, with actions such as manual bolt locking, magazine changes, charging, and slide operation designed to feel deliberate and responsive.
A high level of animation and interaction work supports each weapon platform, from carefully authored hand poses to moving parts that behave as expected during operation. Slides cycle with accurate barrel movement, controls are placed and handled with intention, and small details are modeled so that using a weapon feels tactile rather than abstract. The result is a gunplay system where precision, familiarity, and muscle memory matter.
Sharpen your skills outside of live missions with dedicated IPSC-style courses and a range of killhouse options built for practice, speed, and friendly competition. Run timed shooting challenges to test accuracy under pressure, compare routes with teammates, and refine the fundamentals that matter most in VR: target acquisition, weapon handling, movement, and control.
Killhouses offer a more tactical way to train, with layouts suited for room clearing, angles, communication, and close-quarters decision-making. Whether you are warming up before an operation, drilling with your squad, or competing for the fastest clean run, Geronimo gives players flexible training spaces where improvement is measurable and rivalry stays friendly.

Gun shoot, game good
this game has bugs every now and then like any other game just coming out but this is literally one of the best games shooters I’ve played in VR the gun play is the closest to real life the virtual stock lines so well as it’s really against you breaching doors is always satisfying and you can die easily so it requires some sort of brain function instead of blindly swinging corners like any other shooter honest to god top tier VR game I’m excited for more updates

I hopped in game and immediately wanted to close it. But i still gave it a chance and played 2 games. Pros : -Very nice character and gun customization, you can pick clothes and camos, and theres a pretty bare bones pouch mounting system, your gear saves btw -Decent gun selection -AI seems to be pretty reactive and move around during combat, so they're not super basic -Nice controls gunplay -John Wick mag flip ejection mmmmm -Performance is fairly smooth running everything on max settings and I'm a few years behind on my hardware -I think enemies can hear you talking on the other side of a door when you're talking because they will start shooting through the door -Virtual STONK aaaand thats it Now for the CONS : -What the ♥♥♥♥ is the body IK, I look down at my rig and my character starts throwing it back, makes grabbing gear and holstering weapons frustrating -SEVERE lack of VR QOL and fine tuning settings -Theres no mute button for players or yourself, Id like to just use discord to talk to my friends in game -STICK DRIFT OML, if you have even an OUNCE of stick drift on your controllers you will drift everywhere and it sucks, there's nothing to compensate for how much stick you have, any tiny amount of input makes you move around -No tutorials, just a "training" map to shoot targets, yeah its early access, but at least have something that teaches you controls on launch -Other players, I hosted a lobby and got domed twice before starting my first game. I didn't know which person it was so i ended up purging the lobby twice and then set it to private -The pistol holster is straight dog-ass. You try to reach for it and come up with nothing, you're clicking your finger gun at a pissed off terrorist. The holster is in such a weird and awkward position that you have to lean over to try and see where it is and then reach for it grab it. It makes me feel like a fat guy looking for his ♥♥♥♥ so he can jerk off. Holstering is just as bad, theres a very specific spot that you have to drop your pistol into so it doesn't fall onto the ground. Its the most clunky ♥♥♥♥ in the game. -SCOPES, they're so bad, hardest things to use, eye relief is unforgiving on many scopes, and they dont properly align with your eye, theres just some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up point on the character's face that isnt in the right spot and you cant even see half of the scope because of it, I had to settle with a basic red dot instead. -No healing? It would be nice to have, but its a tactical shooter, would be nice to have in this though. -Can't move in the main menu and everything is 10 feet away from you on screens so text is just barely big enough to read, this will suck for people that don't have good eyesight All in all, there are a few nice things implemented in this game but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do they feel kinda rushed in and untested. I'm not gonna use the word "potential" here, and just say everything needs work. Gameplay is nailed down pretty well but theres 0 catering to making the VR experience of it enjoyable. Its all just frustrating and unforgiving in a bad way, Anyways I'm probably gonna refund this game and forget about it while the devs dont do anything with the game after cashing in on their "VR READY OR NOT" sticker pasted on the store page. If you've come this far, go try out Into the Radius 2 VR, hands down my favorite VR shooter experience of current year. It's filled a very important hole in my heart after Pavlov went to ♥♥♥♥ and you can play it with friends
best VR shooter of late Sure the Ai a bit over turned at times and customising your kit can be frustrating because the placement of the gun and plate carrier being just a bit to far back on the bench I do love how the Ai react to you (i.e trying to brake down a door with a shedgehammer, one hit and they start prefireing the door) never the less, it you want a True VR "Ready or Not" game that punishers you for the mistakes you make, even the ones you didn't know counted this is worth a look
kinda ♥♥♥♥ game i would love it if it stopped being laggy can somebody help me though i keep crashing i would still recommend though
Incredible game with a huge amount of potential. If the devs stick with it, this could become one hell of a masterpiece. There are some collision bugs, but honestly, it already feels more polished than some fully released VR games. The co-op is excellent and engaging, from training exercises to full missions, with a metric ton of entertainment. If you train in real life and can handle VR, get this game. 10/10.
solid mechanics, rough around the edges. waiting for feature parity with TAVR
