About
After a normal commute goes horribly wrong, you wake up in a strange land with your only weapon being an air hockey paddle.
In this adventure inspired by the Touhou Project, battle through Gensokyo with bullet hell battles reimagined as chaotic air hockey duels, use your non-existent charm and wit to talk your way out of (and into) trouble, and join Reimu and Marisa on a quest to save the world! …probably.

Talk to a wide array of characters!
Meet faces both familiar and NEW! (New unless you saw the fanart for this game! Uh oh!) Get dragged into ridiculous situations and schemes, and watch everything go to hell!
Air hockey-based fighting?! HUH?!!!! How does that work? Guess I'll have to find out!
Go head-to-head with opponents in an extremely unique combat system; scoring pucks, completing minigames and dodging attacks alike!
Live-action elements
Watch Kronington do stupid stuff on film that's it
Huge original soundtrack
If you keep on dying, at least you can listen to the cool jazzy 64-track OST by Kronington while you do! Featuring both original compositions and full reimaginings of Touhou classics, you can enjoy hours of funk and bebop solos cheering you on as you graze danmaku!
Le funny shenanigans
A lighthearted (not really), absurd journey filled with funny jokes (not really), and an unreasonable amount of references than necessary (really).
Multiple endings
Your choices shape how the story unfolds. How badly can you mess this up? Find out in...

I loved the visual novel and cutscene portions of this game. The story kept me surprisingly engaged and the humor had me dying laughing at times. Unfortunately the air hocky was pretty janky for me and had my mouse getting stuck on the edges a lot, I ended up getting frustrated at the Okuu battle because of it and quit there. If there was a way to skip the air hocky this game would be top tier. The game is still really enjoyable and clearly had a lot of effort put into it, so I would recommend giving it a shot.
this game is good. but man the air hockey gameplay is not the best. a lot of the time i find the puck going into my goal when it shouldnt have. and having to click on the paddle every time is really janky. the dialogue and visual novel parts of the game are great. but i feel like if like a quarter of the game is just mediocre, then idk man...
I lowk bought it cause of the breaking bad background I don`t even know what is the game all bout lol
I think went the skeleton said "Have a sip of my BONE juice" I knew I was gonna like this game
this game is AMAZING. Worth every single penny

좀 X신같은 맛이 재밌음
The soundtrack slaps hard. In terms of this, I really enjoyed the humor. Too me, it's like gmod machinima humor in a visual novel format and it surprisingly works. I was laughing and/or had a goofy smile on my face 98% of the time since the jokes land. And I never played a touhou game before. the air hockey portions i wasn't a fan since the fights can ramp up in difficulty . i think another review mentioned this but Eirn's fight was one of the hardest in the game, then immediately after the difficulty drops till the finale. the last boss i actually had to use cheat engine since i gave up after 15 attempts, getting to the last phase, then having to restart from the beginning. also at times, i notice the ai for the hockey kinda does janky movements that aren't really feasible by the player, it's not "cheating" per se, but it's very unnatural for the player to pull off. To get some of the achievements, I had to edit the save file (there's a guide here on steam) in order to get some of the achievements since there's no QoL features like a chapter select or rewind feature. I would have liked some anti-frustration features, since I think most people are playing for the VN elements and not the air hockey bullet hell parts of the game. The main game I would give a 10 for it's writing/comedy/presentation, 7 for the gameplay. Kakkoi's Laundromat is a bit of an spin-off of the main game which serves as a resolution to Kakkoi's character. It's basically an idle-clicker. It serves to focus more on Kakkoi and Utsuho.
I wouldn't say it ties up loose ends since it kinda repeats some of the elements both characters get from the main game. Especially when it comes to the last heist's dialogue when they have their "moment". It felt redundant, since I already knew this since the main game did an already good job of explaining it.
. Basically if you want more Kakkoi and Utsuho shenanigans play Laundromat. It's an 7.5 or 8 for me overall.
I like the heists. It was fun seeing Utsuho getting to do more.
I gave up on the achievements, especially after the Straight Outta Wonderland one. I found it extremely tedious to get that one and when you see Mad Alice says nothing, just dances, and only a song plays. The payoff wasn't worth it considering how much more interesting and mysterious she was in the main game.
I consider the main game like a full-course meal that makes you satisfied. Laundromat is like getting a freesmall desert or a side after the meal. It's still good but it feels kinda unnecessary; I was already satisfied already so I didn't really need it but I'll still take it since it was free. Honestly if there was a sidestory/epilogue story/DLC story I would have preferred that instead. Like a slice-of-life/management sim with the MC grappling with trying to manage some of these Touhou characters (per the ending of the main game) as they crash at MC's home and get them accustomed to reality so they can move out and be independent. and MC wanting them gone should be even more apparaent than the main game ending when they all show up. Maybe a time-skip so most of the other Touhou characters have moved out and are independent. Then you can focus on ones who are stubborn on moving/still learning/haven't got a hang of this new reality yet, and it can focus on any characters present in the main game (giving an opportunity to flesh out underdeveloped characters or ones with little to no screen time), thus giving time to develop and spend more time with them. With each resident who's still stuck there (maybe 4-5 in total; maybe kakkoi ) having their own little route and character arc before they move on. and then when they move out, the MC can reminisce about said character's empty room/spot in the house. Then at the end all the characters who were there at the end (the 4-5 plus the additional ones shown in the main game ending) come together to throw the MC a suprise thank-you party or something for helping them out all. sappy? probably. cliche? definitely. But I would have preferred that over Laundromat.
