Solid recommend. May the algorithm favor it.
It's roughly similar to playing a simpler version of Half-Life or Dead Space in VR. You explore around this abandoned underground arctic base where a grand scientific experiment has gone horribly wrong, unlocking more of the base and killing alien monsters along the way.
I enjoyed the exploration. The combat was good enough, but it's pretty simple. There's some amount of resource management (health, ammo, consumables), but scarcity isn't really an issue on the default difficulty. There's some player-progression in finding new weapons, unlocking weapon modifications, and upgrading your suit with a few new abilities.
The graphics, voice-acting, and general level of polish are all unexpectedly good, given that its an inexpensive VR game. The story is adequate, and isn't really the focus.
The only caveats I have are that 1) it's a little short (~10 hours for me, but it was about the right length for this game), and 2) saving is done at specific locations, of which there are plenty, but you have to remember to use them or else you'll lose a moderate chunk of your time when you die (there's autosave too, but it doesn't save very often).
