I had Gemstone Keeper now for a bit on my wishlist till i thought ok now i get it myself and play it. It looked like a nice game you could play and enjoy. Weeeeeellllll then...

So you begin your "quest" by choosing one of 4 random people first. Since i duno which should be good to go in the first place i tried to reroll the people till i got one with "ok" stats, in that case, everywhere a 3 (which seems to be the good middle).
After that, you have basicly 3 things you can do.
Going down the cave which is basicly playing the game, going to the shop where you can get new weapons, bullet types, temp. stat booster and items. I come back to the shop later.
Last but not least is the gallery where you can view all the gems you collected...which is already a bit....how to say that carefully...
You know, we are speaking from a game which has a graphic design with ascii letters. So that already is a "standart" to be said as "graphic". I have no problem with said style, i enjoy it but creating a gallery from gems of low polygon graphic isnt really worth looking either to take care off, really.
So honest opinion, the gallery here is very weak and nonsense.

Im srs. I tried to enjoy this game but i got pretty much disappointed. At the beginning, You have sure no money, go in the cave, kill some enemys, get some mats and gems and begin to buy good stuff like new weapons and stuff.
And honestly, you dont need any other weapon + bullet then the combo i used and you pretty much win the game (which i did with):

This combo alone is way to powerful, you kill enemys way to fast and bosses are like a joke then. any other weapon combo doesnt come close to it, i mean, homing 3 way shots, nuff said.
I sure got all stuff wile i only used this combo wile playing. At the end i even maxed out myself with nearly 700 HP left at the last boss!

I will not say this game is total dumb and not worth playing but i have to be honest here and say its not worth this pricetag. I played maybe 1- 1 1/4 hours (even if my playtime says i did longer i was afk around 45 min (+/-) wile i let the game run) and for 10 bucks its not worth it. Next to this, if you played it ones and got some weapons already, you can use them in the next run which makes the next run WAY easier if you begin with homing shots and the spread shot as sample. Also, why should you play it again anyways? To collect every low polygon gem? Really, you played it ones, you saw everything, its done and that the sad thing about.
I dont recomment it to get it for the normal pricetag, its not worth it in the slightest if you have in mind you can get Terraria or Risk of Rain for the same money. You should get it if its at least 50% off. Its way to short and with nearly no replay ability not worth it to play it more then maybe 2 times but else, not worth it, sadly.
