Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 14 → 33.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Boy, they really screwed up this port. Bugs out the wazoo and the AI took stupid pills.
Was excited for this remaster, didn't end up being worth it in the long run.
I wanted a "Gears of War Masters Collection" that included the original Gears of War trilogy along with Gears of War 4 and Judgment. Instead, we got "Gears of War: Reloaded", which honestly felt like an unnecessary release to me. It's essentially a refined version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which was still exclusive to the Microsoft Store/Xbox App and had horrible frame-pacing and frame-drop issues when running above 30 FPS, at least when I first played it through PC Game Pass back in 2021. That said, this "Reloaded" version is definitely far better than the Ultimate Edition. However, it has too many weird bugs related to the machine learning technique of both enemies and allies. Sometimes an ally will seemingly try to get himself killed while fighting enemies, while other times enemies will strangely act blind when you suddenly walk directly in front of them! I completed the entire story campaign on "Hard difficulty", and these strange machine learning bugs really annoyed me and ruined the experience to a certain degree. Considering the original game is 16 years old at this point, the Reloaded version is very well optimized. You can easily play it at 4K/60 FPS on hardware from a few years ago. There are still some traversal stutters here and there, probably related to shader compilation or Unreal Engine's traversal system, and it's quite strange that these issues still haven't been completely addressed despite the game essentially being remastered for a second time. At this point, the studio could even consider remaking the entire game from scratch using Unreal Engine 5 or even UE6, similar to the recently released Halo Campaign Evolved. However, even with all the technical improvements, I still don't think this newer version can completely beat the original game's art style and visual presentation. The classic Gears of War simply has a unique look and atmosphere. The storyline is quite straightforward and doesn't bother explaining many things in detail, probably because some of that background was expanded upon in the original sequels, Gears of War 2 and 3. And yes, I absolutely want Gears of War 2, 3, Judgment, and 4 on Steam! The gameplay and shooting mechanics also still feel very much like they're from the Xbox 360/PS3 era. It seems like the core gameplay mechanics weren't changed at all. There are even moments where Marcus moves somewhat strangely, with his head leaning too far forward while holding his assault rifle. I'm not sure whether that's intentional or simply a quirk in the game's code. Overall, I really enjoyed Gears of War: Reloaded. Despite its issues, it's a great way to experience the original Gears of War on modern hardware. And now I really want the rest of the series to get proper Steam releases very, very soon! I bought it at 75% off, and for that price, it was definitely worth it. Thank you, and have a nice time ahead!
Not a cleanest remake. -It lost some charm from xbox360 era graphical touch. Huge departure not a great look. -I think enemy ai got dumber or it looks like they are tone-deaf. Some are stuck in some positions and don’t attack you and just wait to end them. -Last Boss is garbage. It should have been fixed and redone from a ground up. What a waste. +Campaign still feels good not to short not to long just right order. High testosterone manly brotherhood bond. +Characters feel great and their chemistry punches you with care +Weapons feels very clean and heavy. -Not a great look for developers if they want to revive or continue the franchise with this amount of “work” they done and expect you to pay full price for this “quality” material and then have pikachu suprise face when it doesn’t sold numbers. +/- Get this game for 10-15 eur max if you want to try it out. Send a message to devs that its not ok to have this lazy materia. We deserve better. I will give this game positive review just because I expect Gears 2,3,4 on steam. But thats prob fools dream.
Pros: -Its Gears of War -Its Gears of War 1 (The best Gears) -Its Gears of War UE (Also Gears 1) -The multiplayer -Crossplay/plat w/ PS5 -Campaign is great (Its Gears 1) -The better movement system -No crazy skins -Its Gears of War 1 -The Sniper Cons: -Gnasher is inconsistent and awful -Snub is the snub -Macro Snub -Macro Bounce -Rage Hackers -Bad players (bums) spam report if you are better resulting in bans (skill issue) -Grown men spam report if you say bad words (Rated M game btw) -No Proper ranked play -Unlimited Ammo Hammer of Dawn -Its Gears of War PS. My wife took my kids away from me because of this game 10/10
Gears of War 1 is a legendary game and I enjoyed playing it again. The campaign is good however felt very easy even on Insane and the gritty style of the game has been sadly removed in this version. The multiplayer was a lot of fun, only came across 2 hackers in 500 odd games, would definitely recommend!
Pretty buggy; I got softlocked multiple times by NPC pathing errors that couldn't reach their objectives so the story just couldn't progress. NPC's have a habit of just walking into walls or getting stuck somewhere. I also got stuck in a room when an NPC just stood in the doorway and wouldn't move at all, which forced me to restart to a checkpoint 10 minutes back. Also has some janky hitboxes where bullets would sometimes just not hit enemies even though they clearly should have. And some objects like trees or small walls have bigger hitboxes than they look, so your bullets just hit an invisible wall. Overall though, a solid way to relive a classic X360 game. The simple repetitive gameplay, writing and clunky controls definitely feel a bit dated today, but it's a nice fresh coat of paint with some quality of life improvements, and still fun to play. All the cinematics were redone with more fidelity too. Being built on an older game / engine, the performance is flawless too, and the remastered lighting / assets look great. Had no problem hitting a constant 240fps on a 4080 with everything maxed out at 1440p. Controls on the mouse + keyboard felt very responsive and smooth, and there wasn't a single hitch throughout the whole campaign.
