Je fais partie de ceux et celles qui ont découvert Gears of War sur Xbox 360. Rejouer à Gears of War: Reloaded est un véritable retour aux sources. Il s'agit essentiellement du même jeu, mais avec des graphismes beaucoup plus propres et détaillés. Les textures sont plus nettes, l'éclairage est amélioré et les performances sont plus fluides, tout en conservant l'ambiance sombre et intense qui a fait le succès de l'original. Il s'agit d'un jeu à la troisième personne dans lequel il est possible d'être en coop ou solo. Personnellement, puisque le jeu se fait avec une équipe, soit Marcus, Dom, Cole et Baird, il est plaisant d'y jouer en coop. Si vous avez aimé le premier Gears of War, cette version remastérisée est une excellente façon de revivre cette aventure dans laquelle une guerre contre les Locusts fait ravage.

Gears of War est un excellent jeu d'action à la troisième personne qui nous plonge au cœur d'une guerre sans merci contre les Locustes. On y incarne Marcus Fenix, épaulé par ses fidèles compagnons Dom, Cole et Baird, dans une campagne intense mêlant fusillades, stratégie et entraide. La campagne est jouable en solo ou en coopération, ce qui renforce encore davantage l'immersion et le plaisir de jeu. Les affrontements sont nerveux, la mise en scène est spectaculaire et l'ambiance sombre contribue à rendre l'expérience particulièrement prenante. Pour ma part, je n'ai pas essayé le mode JcJ (PVP), mais la campagne à elle seule m'a offert de nombreuses heures de divertissement.

The campaign mode is amazing, and the multiplayer is fun too; however, especially on weekdays, you’ll mostly run into hardcore players since they make up the majority of the remaining server population though that doesn't mean you won't find slower-paced or "standard" matches to play.
Despite the flaws this is the definitive way to play gears of war 1. I've played every version of gears 1 minus gears 1 2007 pc port
I love the GOW play... and I am greatful that I can still play on Linux... Bless who ever still makes it available for Linux... I love you
