Посадка получилась аварийной и теперь придётся выбираться из лап пришельцев. [h1] ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ [/h1] Игровой процесс представляет собой смесь аркадной стрелялки, головоломки и платформера. В начале идёт космическо-стрелковый уровень. Подбиваем астероиды. Когда всё-таки проигрываем летающим булыжникам, то попадаем на планету пришельцев. Здесь понадобится найти своих товарищей и собрать диоды для починки корабля. Требуемые радиоэлементы раскиданы по уровням, нужно подобрать их все в каждой локации, это позволит дверям открыться и перейдём к следующему испытанию. Поначалу всё очень просто. Бегаем одним героем по уровням, собираем, обходим ловушки или отключаем их кнопкой. Какое-то время спустя характер уровней изменяется. Нам встречается пришелец-любитель кур. Поможем ему спасти поголовье птицы от прожорливых собратьев, а он будет открывать двери на последующие уровни. Игра приобретает очертания головоломки, ведь кур нужно загнать в клетки, а чтобы это сделать нужно продумать свой порядок действий. Настоящая головоломка начинается, когда встречаем одного из членов экипажа. Нужно будет, бегая двумя героями синхронно (одновременно указанное движение совершают оба), собирать на обоих локациях заветные диоды. Уровни щедро приправлены ловушками. После приличного количества синхронных головоломок начинается платформер. Попадаем на уровни, где по условному дну бегает наш герой, а сверху сыплются ящики, по которым нужно будет допрыгать в то или иное место. Фактически, позиционированием героя добиваемся, чтобы ящики выпадали куда выгодно игроку. Каждый раз они падают на голову героя, а значит процесс управляем. Как по мне, сложность высоковата иногда, прохождение, фактически, стопорится если не удаётся "найти ключик" к уровню. Но тут могут быть противоположные мнения и все будут правы. [h1] МИНУСЫ: [/h1] - Явных не обнаружено. [h1] ВЫВОДЫ [/h1] Небольшая, приятная игра с разнообразными активностями (стрелялка, головоломки, платформер). Gav-Gav Odyssey is a 2D retro pixelcrap console ported story driven hybrid 2D platformer, 2D side scrolling shoot 'em up and 2D top down Sokoban-like puzzle game. Progress through various game modes to rescue your space dog friends. There's a little bit of polish to this but like most games from this developer it seems to have been made just filling out templates in GameMaker Studio and then quickly dumped out as a cash grab onto as many platforms as would take it. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is most commonly used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs. A strong argument can be made that construction kits like GameMaker Studio should never be used to make games for profit, as the "developer", HugePixel has done here. These construction kits are intended to teach people some of the basic principles of game development, and to make small demos to pass around with friends. They're not intended to replace to actual work of real, professional game developers. So it's inappropriate when amateurs try to use these for profit, without any actual, real game development effort taking place. This doesn't result in products that have any real meaningful value for gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Gav-Gav Odyssey has the completely unrealistic cash grab price of around $7 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

Интересная однопользовательская игра про космос с пиксельной графикой. В игре присутствуют логически трудные уровни, которые положительно влияют на геймплей. Играя в неё можно расслабиться и отдохнуть от других популярных игр. Рекомендую. +rep разработчику.

[h1]Review zu Gav-Gav Odyssey[/h1] Gav-Gav Odyssey ist ein nettes kleines Spiel für zwischendurch. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass es noch mehr Mechaniken in diesem Puzzlespiel geben würde statt nur Fallen auszuweichen und Gegenstände einzusammeln, dennoch funktioniert diese doch plumpe Kombination recht gut. Wenn man mal einen, oder mehrere Abende, etwas knobeln möchte, fühlt sich hier glaube ich ganz gut aufgehoben mit dem Spiel. Kommen wir für die Schnellen unter uns einfach mal zur Pro-Contra-Liste: [u][b]Pro:[/b][/u] + Musik ist ziemlich [i]catchy[/i] + Pixelart sieht gut aus + Man kann ganz gut alle Achievements im Spiel kriegen + Das Spiel schafft es (überraschenderweise) recht gut für Abwechslung zu sorgen. Sei es durch Perspektivenwechsel, die Änderung des Genres, oder die Implementierung neuer Charaktere [u][b]Contra:[/b][/u] - Es gibt keine Sound-Regler in den Optionen. Lediglich die Option Musik und Töne an- bzw. aus zu schalten - Level sind, zumindest im [i]extreme mode[/i] zeitbasiert. Dadurch entsteht eine gewisse Hektik, die für diese Art von Puzzlespiel, dass eher daraus besteht während des Lösens der Puzzle auf die Lösung zu kommen, nicht wirklich funktioniert. Daraus resultiert, dass man sich die Lösungswege eher merkt und probiert welche funktionieren und welche nicht. Ähnlich wie beim Trial & Error. Richtig geknobelt wird hierbei nicht - Gewisser Sound hört sich ärgerlich an. Besonders der in den 2D-Jump&Run-Passagen [u][b]Prontra:[/b][/u] +- Die letzten Puzzle waren gegen Ende des Spiels ziemlich antiklimaktisch. Man hat zwar gemerkt, dass diese über Zeit immer schwerer wurden, allerdings war das letzte Puzzle - für mich zumindest - nicht das Schwerste +- [i]buttom prompts[/i] werden häufig von der Tastatur angezeigt, obwohl ich mit einem Controller spiele. Das Tutorial selbst ist auch fehlerhaft, oder es ist ein Bug bei der Controllersteuerung, jedenfalls wird angezeigt, dass ich mit "Select" einen Level neu starten kann und mit "Start" pausiere. Allerdings haben diese Knöpfe nicht funktioniert. Прикольная пиксельная игра для любителей пикселизированных игр. Что я могу сказать про несомненные плюсы этой игры: очень приятный саундтрек достаточно красочная графика очень мало весит есть даже несколько пасхалок в общем, советую поиграть, тем более стоит копейки.

it reminded me of the lost Vikings game on sega mega drive 2, run solve puzzles and pass the level, only it's easier here))) and the price is suitable for such a game.

Собаки и пиксели, головоломки и приключения. Игра позволяет окунуться в космический 2д мир, в котором в роли трех собак предстоит решать головоломки. Продумывать ходы. На мой взгляд некоторые квесты уж очень тяжелые. Но от этого игра хуже не стает! ИМХО
