I like short and polished games, Gato Roboto is one of them.
gato roboto is a 2d action metroidvania where youre a cat named kiki trying to help her owner fix their spaceship after crashing on an alien planet because they heard a radio signal asking for help but the owner is stuck so you have to use a mech to traverse the different areas of the facility. the art is made up of just two colors which i normally dont like but you can find palletes around the map that change those two colors and those are fairly common which always kept the art fresh and the art is beautiful 16 bit pixel art which inspired by retro games which i found very beautiful i dont wanna spoil the story but personally i didnt find it good. the characters are boring and you cant get attached to them because the game is very short and the twist was predictable and the villain was just stupid and the main character... well shes a cat she doesnt talk. and the ending just doesnt make any sense the music is just meh not bad but not good either. it does its job as music by filling in the silence now the gameplay which is the highlight of this game. and its very good. the enemy variety is not much but enough for its short playtime and the abilities are fun even though most of them are not unique to just gato roboto but the bosses oh the bosses are very fun. every boss is unique in the way you fight them in. i really wanna talk about them more but there are only 5 so i dont wanna spoil them just know theyre very fun especially when combined with the smooth movement and the offensive abilities. and the areas are fun to explore each with theyre own theme and mechanics and enemies EXCEPT for the vent area ive already told you that youre a cat inside a mech for most of the game but in the vent area you dont have the mech youre just a normal cat and you die in one hit from EVERYTHING just who in the actual living F*CK though this was a good idea. overall gato roboto is a game i cant really confirm youll enjoy but i can confirm that its definitely not worth its full price so just buy it when its atleast under 5 euros. my personal experience was a 6 out of 10

yeah it's pretty good :D
普通。6/10
great game to play, if you want something short but very fun. got 2 hours and 45 mins
