Game of Hearts

One of the best AVNs on Steam. The highlight is the art. Models are great, and so is the shot composition. Sex scenes are long (and I mean LONG) and well written. Most other games will transition between lengthy scenes of character development to brief sex scenes; here, a lot of the development happens IN the scenes themselves. Characters are great. Normally I'll have one or two favorites, and the rest are just fodder. Here, whichever character I was involved with in the moment was my favorite - they're all worth pursuing (and the game allows you to pursue them all at once). On that note, I'll mention that the game is, as I understand it, fairly linear, though there is some variation. Going back and skipping through a scene I'd already played I noticed a few new positions I hadn't seen prior. The game itself took me around 12h to beat, if you're wondering about playtime. That's a single complete playthrough, going through it normally. Meredith (the blonde) gets the bulk of the playtime, Julia (purple hair), Maxine (black hair), and Ruby (red hair) follow in that order. That I even remember their names should tell you about how well written they are. There's a few more surprises than this, and even a few scenes that don't show up in the scene gallery - this game underplays its hand. Your 'goal' in this game is to corrupt women - married ones, for the most part - so if you struggle with the morality of that you might have some trouble. The game allows you to be 'the good guy' for the most part, but the reality is not something it shies away from. It stops at a good point (not as abrupt as some others), the ending is well written, almost emotional, and reframes some things nicely. Overall, this game comes across as serious, well thought out, and with a lot of personality in its presentation. Give it a shot if this sounds interesting to you, and look forward to the sequel! I really wanted to like Game of Hearts because the concept sounded genuinely interesting. A demon protagonist with supernatural influence and moral corruption mechanics could have made for a really unique AVN. Unfortunately, the actual game feels far more tame and linear than the premise suggests. The biggest issue for me was the lack of meaningful player agency. A lot of the dialogue choices don’t actually feel different from each other. No matter what you pick, the MC usually reacts in the same soft, passive, agreeable way. I kept expecting routes where you could lean into being manipulative, selfish, dangerous, or even just more confident, but those moments almost never happen. The story itself also feels surprisingly safe. Instead of exploring the supernatural side of the premise in creative ways, most of the game focuses on fairly ordinary workplace drama and relationship scenes. That wouldn’t necessarily be bad on its own, but the marketing and setup made it feel like there would be far more intensity, corruption, temptation, and darker choices involved. Another problem is pacing. The opening hooks you pretty well, but after that the narrative slows down a lot and starts feeling repetitive. There are long stretches where not much happens beyond conversations that don’t really push the plot forward. To be fair, the art is decent and some character interactions are written well enough, but the overall experience just never reaches the potential of its premise. It feels less like a supernatural corruption story and more like a very standard visual novel with a demon theme pasted on top. Overall, not terrible, but definitely disappointing considering how strong the initial idea sounded.

The graphics are top notch, the story and gameplay are different from most AVNs. I hope the story continues. The only con is infrequent updates from the developer.

Really good AVN. I wasn't totally sold on the story at first with the whole being a demon thing, but the more I played the more I got sucked into the storyline. Now I can't wait for the follow up sequel to see how the story continues. The visuals are nice and lewd content is plenty. Sex scenes are very long with many decisions in the scenes which feel like a mini game almost. I would say about 50% of the game is sex scenes as they are each very long and handled completely differently than in any other AVN. The only thing that just didn't click with me was how these "porn shoots" worked and how reluctant the wife and husband were as if they don't know anything about porn. In one scene where the husband watched, he was getting angry from the MC just standing too close to the wife during the porn shoot. How does that make sense? How would a porn shoot work if the actor stands on the opposite end of the room from the actress? But anyway, overall it's a great experience and well worth your money. Playtime is around 10-15 hours for one playthrough, depending on how fast you are reading.

Awesome game! Story was well written and the characters interesting. Cannot wait for season 2!

I really like this game. It has a really good story lines to it. But it really needs a lot of sound effects for the love making scenes but other then that it is a really good game to play. I just hope that they will keep the story lines going.

Great game overall. Art, models, animation, and storyline are all good. Only knock I have against it is excessive narration, which a lot of these games have a problem with. I don't like that this story somehow continues in another game, but I can just not play that game.

La storia è del genere eros, di livello superiore rispetto a molti giochi del genere sia come qualità delle animazioni sia come storia, si tratta di una visual novel con elementi RPG , infatti in base alle tue scelte saranno i parametri a decidere che strada prenderà la trama. la storia è quella di un ragazzo che un giorno scopre di essere il figlio di un demone , e che se non si da da fare a trovare seguaci e a assorbirne l'energia rischia di lasciarci la pelle. Il gioco di per se è molto bello con marcati tratti chuchold , anche se la trama non è chiarissima , le scene sono curate . Voto storia 8/10 voto game 9/10 voto eros 10/10

This VN is actually amazing and I can't wait for the sequel. The sex is well written and the romance is actually very sweet in a way that keeps you invested in the characters. 10/10 best AVN I've played to date, and I wish this dev had more games published because I am now a fan!
