About
FLUX HEROES is a side-scrolling beat ’em up built around a highly free-form combo system. The game emphasizes timing, positioning, and moment-to-moment decision-making, focusing on pure action rather than character stats or equipment grinding.
Inspired by the classic arcade era, FLUX HEROES delivers fast-paced combat where player skill and execution define success. There are no preset combo strings and no single optimal solution—each encounter rewards creativity, control, and situational awareness.
The core gameplay progresses through horizontal stages that culminate in intense boss encounters. Players must navigate dense enemy formations by combining movement, jumps, attacks, and skills into fluid combat sequences.
Standing still to trade damage is not viable. Combat encourages constant repositioning, precise timing, and deliberate engagement choices. Mastery comes from understanding enemy behavior and maintaining momentum throughout each encounter.
Chain attacks, skills, and movement freely to create your own combat flow and playstyle.
Combat revolves around hit stun, spacing, and precise execution rather than raw damage output.
Launches, juggles, knockbacks, wall bounces, interrupts, and ground follow-ups interact within a unified combat system.
Boss fights emphasize pattern recognition, positioning, and execution rather than character stats.
Supports up to 3-player local co-op in the full version
Online multiplayer and remote play are not currently supported
Cooperative gameplay emphasizes coordination, positioning, and role awareness
Multiple playable characters, each with a distinct combat rhythm and feel
A variety of stages and boss encounters designed around the core combat system
Replayability is driven by mastery, efficiency, and execution rather than numeric progression
FLUX HEROES is currently in Early Access.
The current version already includes the complete core combat system, playable stages, and enemy encounters. All gameplay features described above are implemented and playable.
During Early Access, development will focus on adding more content—such as additional characters, stages, and boss encounters—while continuing to refine combat balance, performance, and overall game feel based on player feedback.
If FLUX HEROES’ combat-driven design and arcade-inspired action appeal to you, consider adding the game to your Wishlist to follow its development.

Reviews
Re do the music and level design. Its okay so far but really needs work.
