"リアルタイムバトル将棋オンライン" is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam. It's just a simple "Shogi" game with no players, the kind of thing you can play for free in a browser. Shogi, for those who don't know, is an ancient form of Chess popular in Japan, and it's a pretty fun game... but this trash mobile app here on Steam is not the best way to play it. And you probably won't get a match, either, SteamDB shows nobody is playing this. No surprises there, PC gamers understandably don't like mobile trash. My gaming rig is not an iPhone, and neither is yours! There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Интерфейс интуитивно понятен даже новичкам, а система подбора соперников работает довольно неплохо, позволяя сражаться с игроками схожего уровня. Графика выполнена в приятном минималистичном стиле, не отвлекающем от самого процесса игры. Однако, игра не лишена недостатков. Иногда встречаются проблемы с соединением, что особенно критично в динамичных партиях. Кроме того, не хватает разнообразия в визуальном оформлении досок и фигур. В целом, 'リアルタイムバトル将棋オンライン' – это захватывающий и свежий взгляд на классическую игру. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет динамичные и интеллектуальные онлайн-баталии. 4/5.

将棋は駒の動かし方を知っている程度の素人がやってみました。 対戦はインターネット対局もありますが、そんなレベルにないので、CPU戦のみ行いました。 これまでの先手／後手のターン制がリアルタイムになった事で、だいぶスリリングなゲームになります。 良い所に目を付けたなーと感心しました。 私は、これはこれで面白いと感じました。 盤面は時間の経過とともに盤面は絶えず変化するため、モタモタ考えている余裕はありません。 良手をひらめく力を鍛えるにも良いかもしれません。 ちなみに、駒の動かし方を知っている程度の棋力だと、ＣＰＵの最弱キャラの「本気」にすらなかなか勝てませんｗｗｗ （なお、「手加減」「普通」レベルもあるので初心者でも大丈夫です。） 数分で決着がつく手軽さもあり、勝てなくても つい「もう一局」と繰り返してしまう面白さがあります。
