About
Fleet Hunters turns classic grid-based naval battles into fast real-time duels where both players fire at once. Prefer the traditional rules? Switch to Classic Mode and take turns hunting the enemy fleet.
Place your ships, read every hit and miss, and uncover the enemy before they destroy you. Battle the AI, challenge friends, or face other players online in quick tactical matches.
The rules are easy to learn, but every match rewards careful deduction. Misses narrow the search, hits reveal patterns, and well-placed attacks can disable a ship’s weapons before it is completely destroyed.

There is no turn order in Real-Time Mode. Fire whenever your weapons are ready while your opponent attacks at the same time. Every second becomes a race to locate, disable, and sink the enemy fleet first.
Classic Mode keeps the familiar rules: take turns firing, and every hit earns another shot. Study the board, plan each move, and chain hits into a streak before your opponent uncovers your fleet.
Carriers, battleships, cruisers, and patrol boats each carry their own weapons, including cannons, rockets, close-in guns, and carrier aircraft. Hits do more than reveal a position: knock out a main weapon and the ship must fall back to a weaker secondary. Where you hit matters as much as whether you hit.
Play against the AI, challenge a friend over LAN or in a private online match, or find other players through matchmaking.
Enter ranked battles, improve your rating, compare your performance on global and friends leaderboards, and unlock achievements along the way.
Readable top-down visuals keep the focus on the battle, with clear feedback for every shot, hit, damaged weapon, and destroyed ship.

Fleet Hunters is a solo-developed indie game built to make hidden-fleet battles quick to learn and tense to play.
Whether you prefer the pressure of simultaneous fire or the familiar rhythm of taking turns, matches stay short, readable, and worth starting again.

WOW! Well done. One of my favorite games as a kid (the original one). You sunk my battleship commercial rang through my head thinking of my childhood. WOW! Almost made me cry since some of those people aren't here today. Developer did an EXCELLENT job ! Full controller support. BRAVO! BTW, multiplayer support is available, although I played against the CPU. https://steamcommunity.com/groups/indieretrogamers
This game instantly reminded me of playing Battleship as a kid, trying to guess where the other ships were hiding. It has that same simple, satisfying feeling, but with a nice modern twist. I found myself getting way more competitive than I expected . Definitely a fun little game for some casual matches.

I thought I was playing a relaxing little naval game. Five minutes later I was staring at the screen like a military commander trying to locate one missing boat. The amount of satisfaction from finally hitting the right square is ridiculous. Simple idea, but it somehow brought out my inner strategist and my inner rage.
This is awesome!! The game is incredibly polished. The real-time mode is def my fav, and the radar-style CRT visuals fit the game perfectly. The atmosphere and sound effects are great too! It’s simple to pick up, yet still very strategic (and a little luck). I didn’t try the game with a real player, but the AI is very smart! I’d love to see some unique bonuses added in the future, but honestly, the game is already so epic. Great value for the price and great fun!
A super fun game inspired by Battleship - you must guess the coordinates, hit the enemy ships, and sink them all! I played exclusively in Real-Time Mode for a more dynamic feel. I even played a ranked match against the developer! The only thing I miss is having power-ups/boosts or bonuses (both positive and negative), but maybe the developer will add some in the future. Support indie devs!
I had a really good time playing in the game. The idea is simple and really fun, the gameplay feels smooth and easy to understand. The mechanics are simple to learn, and the graphics fit the naval battle style nicely. I also liked the variety of game modes, which keeps things interesting and makes the game enjoyable to play, it's a highly recommended experience.
Realtime battleships. Rather than the schooltime pen&paper there's no waiting around for your turn. Looks great too, whole thing is like an old radar screen. Quick fun games, worth it.
It looks and sounds great. LAN multiplayer is awesome, I can play with my fam 👍
Full disclosure, I've met one of the devs, and he's a really cool dude! The game is really cool! What you see is what you get - battleships with a really cool, radar aesthetic. I think it could be a lot of fun to play with friends. Singleplayer could also fill some time if you have a boring job :D I also played a couple of online ranked matches, but since the game is still not very well known yet, there aren't a lot of people to sink. Oh, I especially like how quickly the game plays. There aren't any visible turns, rather after your attack unlocks, you can immediatelly order a strike. That makes the game feel quicker and more impactful, an 'attack before you get attacked' kind of thing. Really liked it!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This took me right back. Used to play Battleship with pen and paper as a kid, guessing coordinates and yelling "hit!" or "miss!" across the table, and Fleet Hunters somehow captures exactly that feeling while making it feel fresh(well as fresh as a retro game can be ^^). Though it can get frustrating when you loose or keep loosing Q,q , bit of wait time on the multiplayer but i guess because it's fresh can
