An RTS auto battler that you control via items bought while respawning. It is quite fun, but to me it seems a bit "snowbally". A player could mess up if they buy the wrong items, but I feel like that would not happen after a high enough level. Once you start killing the other Skeleton King sort of consistently you will get more money than them and will be able to buy better gear until it's just a completely one sided match, or viceversa. I guess some luck is involved since the only money you get is from your skeleton king killing / hitting things, and thus depends on whether you are lucky enough in the beginning to get some hits \ kills in before the other player to start the "snowball" effect. Overall I like the game but some other anti snowball measures would be nice. Also don't take my word for it since I'm not a competitive player in this game or anything, and these are just my observations after a few games of Skeletal Skism 1 and now 2 (which adds more items / balance and a few other mechanics)

This game needs a mode with customized rules, I played part one with a friend and we always got upset about the time limit because it feels bad to both win or lose by just the time being over while one player is ahead by a bit but about to lose in the long run.
Holy Moses how long have I not been here for? I dunno if anyone remembers me but I was the guy at the first unofficial championship of skeletal skism. About a few years ago. I won against my friend and won the whole thing. Dukerbx was there as well to give the winner an item in the bloxfruits game I think it was. And I ended up giving it to my friend in the finals after I defeated him Nothin important to say really just wanted to come by and see how’s everything and everyone doing. Respect to u all for keeping MBE’s games alive and well. Just a shout y’all.
Why yes I do play Ranked Skeletal Skism 2. You have to have a high level of intellect to truly progress in such a game. Really have to be at a higher level. Maybe someday you too can evolve.
Essentially a 2D one lane MOBA auto-battler (minus the champion/hero variety) where your Skeleton King can be augmented with equipped items from the shop and the player can call in a limited amount of "special" reinforcements (Mercenaries and an Angel of Death). It's not quite as player action intensive as something like Minion Masters and your army isn't as influenced by unit variety like DOTA Underlords. However, just coming up with a solid set of items to defeat or counter the opponent is pretty fun, though you have to somewhat eyeball it during the fight because you can't exactly see what the opponent was using until the end of the match. There's also the strategy behind whether or not to save you Angel of Death and two sets of Mercenaries for early, mid, or late game. One thing I noticed is that I couldn't tell if "Lifesteal" was working or not. I got it on about 3 items in my first match but never noticed my health going up when hitting enemies.
My initial take is that while it's nothing new it's a pretty good package of a solid gameplay loop with a nice pixel art style. Being F2P makes it pretty easy to try for a couple hours to see if it's your kind of game.
Played more during playtesting, visually and when it comes to UI, the game is a lot more clearer compared to the 1st. The addition of campaign is also nice, though I wish it was more fleshed out. Overall this is much more polished than the first game with more to do.
Great game would Recommend to anyone love the pvp style love the auto battler and countering my opp build! Only issue is it needs some sort of Forfeit system as when you know you lost the game you still have to play for a few extra mins. NEEDS MORE PLAYERS!!!!
"Skeletal Skism 2" is a rather lame soldier attack/defense game, you know the type, spend your money and buy more/better soldiers before the enemy overwhelms you. Soldiers just march on towards each other and fight. Success boils down to just spending money quickly and well... it's lame, to the extent Plants vs Zombies has more depth. I was a little surprised to find this isn't a mobile app. It sure seems like a case of the developer getting confused and thinking Steam is a mobile app store. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. This is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out for a $3 USD cosmetics "donation" for this as you're expected to buy some extra DLC from Steam. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Ölümsüzler arasında savaş sürüyor... Hepsi tek bir amaç için: TEK - GERÇEK - İSKELET - KRALI belirlemek. Tacı ele geçirmek için gereken güce sahipmisin.?
