If over 50% people who own it has unlocked the true ending achievement, YOU KNOW IT'S GOOD.
Speaking of achievement. I completed the story, got the true ending. However, I reloaded a save where it looked like the ending would be affected by a decision during the 4th chapter (forest area late in the day). Skipped everything that wasn't new from that route. Got a different ending, but did not get an achievement. I am missing 3 gallery images and have no clue how to get the alternate ending, I went ahead and got a different ending, but no achievement...
ISSUES;
- In the roses maze, the map is strangely made according to the perspective, it should be pointing out that the map begins from the first cross road and is always facing the same direction. What i mean by that is that when you turn right for example, towards east, you are now facing east, if you turn left from there, you go north, and right, you go South, but turning left and right is ALWAYS north west or north east, but anyway, it's a perspective issue… Same goes fo the final crossroad, where going between 2 options is impossible and you gotta choose 1 of the 3, however they're plants, not roads, but considering the unusual map layout, i quicky thought about the correct way, but then it was just an other oddity and it proceeded without making much sense with the map.
- Many invalid options were set to push back the correct answer as "the last one", which is a lazy design in my opinion. Even in dialogues, the last option is often the correct one.
- There were a few oddities here and there.
- Can't find how to get the alternate ending for 100% completion.
OVERALL:
I had a fantastic time, it is well worth it's full price, even tho i got it on discount like all the games I pay since nearly everything's overpriced nowaddays. I grew up poor, I don't want to feel ripped off. I value my money.
If you don't want to use a transator or your 日本語 skills aren't enough, fear not, as an english version exists as a separate game, look up "Gothic Murder" here on Steam. It should be exactly the same as the original work.
