Космическая пушка!
Удачный клон Vampire Survivors. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2850363309
This is an entertaining survivors game with some unique ideas and a lot of unlockables. Underlying game is great, but has a "visual clusterf^@#" aesthetic that could be improved. After thinking about it for a while, I think the problem with the current graphics (on EA release date btw), is that there is no emphasis of importance (meaning everything is actively vying for your attention, from your own engine trails, missile trails, giant bullets, explosion effects, enemy projectiles, item pickups, enemies ranging from giant to microscopic, and gigantic arrows pointing to distant planets) so you have to stress yourself trying to decipher what is on the screen. Another aspect of this problem is the coloring of enemies and projectiles (including your own), doesn't seem to convey anything. The colors as far as I could tell so far are mostly arbitrary (such as square enemies having 5 different colors, my own projectiles having multiple colors, and enemy projectiles having multiple colors) which means it is even harder to decipher what you are looking at, considering color is visible in peripheral but shapes are not. You can get used to it over time after playing a while, so I would guess developers have acclimated to it so well that they are no longer affected by the visual issues, making it a blind spot. My suggestion would be an attempt to downplay all 'ally' effects (giant projectiles, giant engine trail, screen covered in missile trails, etc) try color coding absolutely everything (some things already are, so basically just more of the same idea) and change those planet indicator arrows. I'd say that color saturation could also be an indicator on its own, since some ally effects are already low saturation, maybe they should all be low saturation (and all share the same ship color). These are just a few ideas that come to mind after initial impression - hopefully it's helpful. Other than that, I think the game is great.

A few good ideas built without understanding several key game design principles, or what makes the genre tick.
The Good
-The idea of selecting your weapon for a fire rate bonus is very nice and, on paper, it gives you some freedom for tackling different situations while letting you work towards becoming a screen-clearing bullet spewing monstrosity. In practice the system is nearly irrelevant due to the short length of the runs - you will probably only have 2 weapons by the end. -The Command Center is a great concept executed fairly decently. As your reputation level reaches certain levels, you choose 1 of 3 available upgrades for yourself alongside 1 of 3 upgrades for enemies per tier. The bonuses, while not very well balanced (some are massively useful while others disproportionately weak or awful to deal with) are fairly unique. -Moving around to save planets ranked by difficulty helps give each run a flexible structure, at least on paper. The ratio of difficulty to rewards makes anything but Hard planets a waste of time almost every time however, and Easy ones essentially have no reason to exist because the reward restrictions limit you in the long term. -The starting ship selection happens by asking you a vague "how do you want to destroy everything?" question and basing it off your answer. It's cute. -The pixel art for various icons is good. I really wish the entire game would be done in that style. -Sound effects are decent, though they somewhat feel like random beeps and boops you'd hear in a 90's American show when someone is playing videogames as portrayed by boomers who barely have a clue what videogames are.
The Bad
-Presentation is atrocious. I take no pleasure in being so harsh, but it truly is monumentally bad. It's not that it's ugly -it is very ugly, but that's okay- any more than it's dysfunctional. There is nearly no consistency to the design of anything. Even with improved visibility enabled, nothing is coded for consistent readability. Projectiles for the player AND enemies share shapes. Enemies and projectiles are completely flat, full shapes without any visual coding for threat, no wind-ups for attacks. It's impossible to tell at a glance what is allied or an enemy, or an enemy projectile, or what will get destroyed by your attacks or what won't be, or where your ship is. The saturation of everything is obnoxiously high and almost every gameplay aspect has bright strong colors with no grading to make things distinct. Visually it's a constant assault of solid blocks of color on your senses and your eyeballs that fails to communicate what anything is. -There is no build variety. While there's an okay-ish selection of weapons available, and ships offer some distinctiveness, your choices essentially don't matter at all. You level your weapons and win, regardless of anything else, so long as the assault of basic shapes doesn't make you lose track of your ship and gets you killed. Every run is the exact same. Every build benefits from the exact same base attack, multiplier and attack speed more or less indistinctively. You don't need any other stat, and nothing scales with other stats in any meaningful way, with only a couple exceptions. -Runs are stupidly short. The final boss will spawn when the difficulty scales to a certain point, which is accelerated by fulfilling objectives, which is the main way to progress, which helps you fulfill more objectives and scale the difficulty faster. Even without any upgrades that increase the scaling speed, you can easily meet the final boss within ~6 minutes and kill it within two seconds. Not only is it not satisfying in the slightest and robs every run of any identity, it also prevents any of the other systems from having time to shine. Weapon switching might as well not be there, since you'll be lucky to have 2 fully upgraded weapons by the end. You'll probably only have 2 or 3 perks by the end, which usually won't be enough to carve any kind of distinct playstyle. Because of this, plus the usual Early Access shortcomings, you will see everything the game has to offer within 30 minutes... several times over. -Bosses are absurdly HP spongy without a few upgrades, which make them die very very quickly. -The music.
The Ugly
-The UI is all over the place. I don't think it needs to be said that your HP bar shouldn't be less than 1/6th the size of your EXP bar. I have no idea what armor actually is or where you see it, and I don't think shields are represented on your HP bar, either. -Some things require maxing specific combinations of upgrades, but they seem like forcing something that is in VS into the game just because it is in VS, without understanding why it is in VS and why it exists in the form it does in VS. -Metal (a pickup required to fulfill objectives) is dark gray. Against a black background. -Font choices are the worst I've seen in a long time. On the upside, there's no Comic Sans. -It's 2022 and there's still a very forced reference to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that you will inescapably be subjected to when it shows up as a perk. We get it guys, you're geeks, the number 42 is funny, etc. You can stop. It's been years. It's been done to death. NGU Idle already has a forced reference to Navi from Ocarina of Time saying "Hey! Listen!", which was peak obnoxious in 2005. This isn't a contest you want to win.

Fun game! A mix between geometry wars and survivors-esque games about having multiple weapons and passives with permanent upgrades. My main concern is viability, as it can be hard to tell the difference between projectiles, weapons, powerups, etc. especially with the upgrade that makes all your bullets explode. Some stronger differentiation between good and bad things would help a lot. Also controller support is currently really wonky. Hoping that'll update soon as well. Regardless, for $3 it's a fun time, and am excited to see where this game will go next.
Great game, lots of unlocks, I can say I have put a few days into this game and still having a blast! I would recommend.
Fun, addictive, challenging, and easy to play.
It's probably a pretty decent game, but I just could not get into it. I found it hard to keep track of my ship midst all the enemies/projectiles. I also find the bright colors + bloom effect not to help. Playing this for longer periods of time would definitely give me a headache. Sorry, just not for me. Had to refund this pretty much immediately.
