Galactic Pawns is an absolute blast! Every run feels different thanks to the huge variety of upgrades and weapons. The bullet hell action is intense but fair, and each victory feels earned. For the price, this game is a steal
This is a fast-paced roguelike in the vein of Brotato and Vampire Survivors, but with a unique galactic agent theme. Runs are short, intense, and packed with action. The variety is a big strength here. different levels, a wide selection of weapons, and diverse enemy types keep each run fresh. The pacing is tight, and it does a great job of delivering that “just one more run” feeling without dragging things out. If you enjoy high-energy roguelikes with plenty of build variety and replay value, this one is easy to recommend.
The UI/UX is so frustrating: it has camera shake that cant be disables; some item upgrades are not clear to read, and when you hover the cursor it zoom in on the item - and this constant zoom in/out is all the time.
Runs smooth, looks great, and feels surprisingly polished for an indie game. There's a pretty big variety of weapons and upgrades that you unlock as you progress, and the enemies actually push you to move smartly instead of just holding down fire.
the quality is solid. the soundtrack is great. can't stop playing this one.
I've been following this game's development for a while, and I'm REALLY happy with what it turned out to be. It is an awesome new addition to the survivor-like genre and at this kind of price it's hard to argue against it. The simplistic style + the combination of survivor-like while adding some player skill expression to it is done very well. Every run is satisfying, the progression is rewarding and keep you hooked for more, overall it's super addicting and just plain fun. Big recommandation from me, you really can't miss getting this game IMO :)
Addictive is the best word to describe this game. One more run turns into ten, and I still feel like there’s more to discover. The progression system and unlocks keep me hooked. Highly recommended for roguelite fans.
This is exactly the kind of survivorlike I’ve been looking for. Every run feels different, and the progression system makes me want to jump back in after I die. The soundtrack also adds so much atmosphere. Really solid start for an indie title.
