I love galactic civilizations! It's a great game with somewhat predictable play, but the special effects have gotten better and better. It's a lot of fun from a strategic standpoint esp with interacting with other civilizations. I also enjoy the feature to create and customize cool new ships!
The latest patch to add hyperlanes and make other improvements has significantly improved the playing experience by making progress less of a slog. Looking forward to continuing improvements! The game is now in a good state and I recommend it if you are a fan of the series or 4x, in general.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Jogo incrível, amo ver as AI no nível impossível tentando ganhar de mim, nesse jogo realmente eu sinto que os bots estão vivos e representam algum desafio!
I totally sweat it. Can't believe it's already past the 100 hours mark. I want to play more ! I did played lots of Galactic Civilization 2, skipped GalCiv 3 and am enjoying the 4th iteration a lot. It's a rich experience if you take the time to learn the game mechanics. There's a lot of variables and stuff to strategize about. I have only played 2 civilizations so far (Xeloxi and the Festron). It's pretty difficult to write a review when the experience is good. I mean it's a 4x game but it has its own flavor and an interresting lore. The civilizations I've played are very different in their playstyle. I wouldn't expect ALL civilizations to have their own unique playstyle, but there is room for different playstyle so you'll probably find a civilization you love to play. I've not seen many bugs (two so far) and have no crash to report.
Шикарное подобие цивилизации и стеларис Своих денег однозначно стоит и дополнения тоже
Best comparison is Distant Worlds 2 but turn-based. Kinda hard to figure out but when you do its fun. Learning it can be stressful yet rewarding
an ai surrender on off switch would be nice
Buen juego, me gustaria tambien mas opciones de naves colonia, tipo naves generacionales, cilindros de stanford, naves que puedan llevar mas poblacion a cada nuevo planeta.
Great game guys!
