Gute neue Auflage des Spiels
Galactic Civilizations IV offers a fresh and ambitious take on the classic 4X strategy formula, inviting players to immerse themselves in an expansive galaxy where diplomacy, exploration, warfare, and technological advancement are all vital to success. The game builds upon the strengths of its predecessors while introducing new layers of depth and customization that allow for more nuanced empire management and strategic planning. From the moment you begin your campaign, you’re encouraged to forge your own path—whether through peaceful expansion, cunning diplomacy, or overwhelming military force. One of the standout features of Galactic Civilizations IV is its robust customization system. Players can design unique ships with an impressive array of parts and modules, enabling them to tailor their fleets for specific roles or strategies. This attention to detail extends beyond shipbuilding to empire management, where you can adjust policies, govern multiple planets with diverse characteristics, and manage resources in a way that suits your style of play. The interface has been polished to streamline these complex tasks, making it easier to juggle the many moving parts of a galactic empire without feeling overwhelmed. Exploration and discovery remain central to the experience, with procedurally generated galaxies that provide endless replayability. As you scout new star systems, encounter alien civilizations, and uncover ancient mysteries, the game rewards curiosity and strategic foresight. Diplomacy is notably improved, offering richer interactions with other factions that can lead to alliances, trade agreements, or devastating betrayals. This dynamic political landscape adds tension and unpredictability, forcing you to adapt your strategies on the fly and consider the long-term consequences of your decisions. Combat in Galactic Civilizations IV strikes a balance between tactical depth and accessibility. Battles take place on detailed maps where positioning, ship design, and special abilities all play crucial roles. The game offers options to automate combat for those who prefer a faster pace, but the tactical layer is robust enough to satisfy players who enjoy micromanagement and strategic maneuvering. Combined with the strategic layer of managing your empire’s growth and diplomacy, combat provides a satisfying challenge that never feels detached from the broader galactic narrative. While Galactic Civilizations IV excels in many areas, it is not without its challenges. The complexity can be daunting for newcomers, and the learning curve is steep, especially for those unfamiliar with the 4X genre. Additionally, some players might find the pacing slow during the early game as they build up their economies and fleets. However, these early investments often pay off with thrilling mid- and late-game moments where your empire’s choices and designs truly come to life. Regular updates and an active community continue to enhance the experience, addressing balance issues and adding new content to keep the galaxy vibrant. In essence, Galactic Civilizations IV is a comprehensive and richly detailed 4X strategy game that caters to both longtime fans and newcomers willing to dive deep into galactic empire-building. Its blend of expansive customization, strategic diplomacy, exploration, and tactical combat creates a layered experience that rewards thoughtful play and creative problem-solving. Though it demands patience and strategic thinking, the sense of achievement from growing a fledgling civilization into a dominant galactic power makes every challenge worthwhile. For anyone passionate about space strategy games, Galactic Civilizations IV offers a compelling universe to conquer and shape. Rating: 7/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I play a lot of games and Gal Civ 4 ranks up there with some of the best I have played. I enjoy the process of exploration and interaction with other civilizations in the game. I do recommend it if you want to enjoy a great game.
I have played many similar games and I find GalCiv4 to be quite engaging and addictive. Endless possibilities. My favorite game at the moment... moment being for the last several months.
Enjoyed around 500 hours in GC 3 10 years ago, just installed GC 4 and ran a small map for 10 hours on normal difficulty without any prep or RTFM for a quick win (culture starbase takeovers). Same level of enjoyment, many original tedious management grinds have been removed with intelligent workflows that just trigger on change events. If you enjoy 4X you should enjoy this.
Been having a blast with this. The game has a really good mix of exploring, expanding, researching and fighting, and I keep finding myself saying “one more turn.” It’s incredibly in depth without feeling overwhelming. Lots of freedom in how you build your empire too. Really solid 4X.
I highly recommend getting this game. Its a space version of civilization, exactly what I was looking for when I got it.
Ein sehr gelungener Nachfolger der GC Reihe. Auch die DLC´s sehr empfehlenswert. Danke Stardock :-).
