Best !!!
Interesting 4X to play in 2026. Feels like a nostalgic game with early 2000 pseudo 3D art direction but with some modern feeling due to AI usage and interface design. I've played GalCiv III long time ago but don't remember it, so this is basically first entry in the series for me. Game is a classic space strategy with huge maps, hundreds of planets to explore, ships to build and civilizations to enslave. It has quite a few unique mechanics such as AI race generation and rather sophisticated planet city district management
that somehow make more sense than Stellaris ones after 10 reworks
. I think lore is decent, and random events with satisfying "one more turn" together make the game flow and time fly fast. It's simpler than many other games in genre, but it's not dumbed down. Complexity is in a sweet spot where there is enough of it to generate unique emerging scenarios but it's not overwhelming like in Paradox games. It reminds me a bit somehow of release Imperator -- strategic long term planning mostly consists of city districts "mini game", research tree, diplomacy and expansion (selecting which systems to colonize) however there are a lot of actions, events and resources that bring instant gratification via "click this button to spend resource and launch an immediate effect". Enemy AI is decent and there is new "Adaptive AI" where it's given bonuses if they're behind so you're actually challenged. Similar to Stellaris, there is big difference between small early game expansion steps and huge end game war between multiple sectors with diplomacy, big ships and "crisis" involved. I think you can feel civilization development during your campaign. DLCs are expensive but bring more depth to certain areas. If you like wars, Warlords is probabably must have - expands on warship and combat. The only thing that I felt immediately is lacking is more nuances and depth to population management. There is some, but it's on surface level -- pops have stats and hired governors have some unique perks, but in general citizens and races need to have more personality, traits and there needs to be some kind of political system in place similar to Endless Space 2. Races need to have some unique effects that impact gameplay more, right now they can feel a bit samey. There is upcoming DLC for that though, maybe it will improve this part. Generally a niche game but I liked it, I think if you like 4X this one is worth to try.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nice Space Strategy Game , Easy , Interesting
Game has graphics of a paper board game. RTX 4080Super load @ 95%, 230Watt. There's bad optimization, and then there's this game. Pure insanity.
An sich super. Änderungen zum dritten teil bisher, dass man nicht mehr eine karte hat, sondern die Karte nun in Art Sektoren unterteilt ist, welche durch vorher festgelegte Hyperraumbrücken erreicht werden können. Ansonsten bisher ziemlich dasselbe
Dip your little piggies into this dish of 4x water. Its currently in the stardock constant pot stage, always cooking and adding a bit more. Has a form of generative AI trained exclusively on their own assets to help you flesh out your own custom civs. Occasionally you will see a twerp spouting it doesnt have as much variety as other models.... But thats because the pool only includes artists that were paid and agreed to it Good stuff
My thumbs up represents me liking the game more than me recommending you purchase the game. I have enjoyed my time in the game, i like 4x games, even some unpopular ones. This game can be frustrating at time, but overall I keep coming back to it from time to time, so there is something keeping me invested into the game. I think part of it is the world, and while it may not be the best 4x grand strategy out there, it is very much playable to me.
great challenge
On s'ennuie...
