Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
Tgis game is fullof surprises and not easy to master at any level above normal.
variety is found with the combo of race and research. The AI is not very strong, basically the same one from the old game. I hope they get better with the next iteration, but fun to play. I hope more of the DLC's affect game play more than just adding in new races but it didn't look that way.

From what the other reviews are saying, we should be playing Galactic Civilizations II instead of this. Otherwise we need to spend a $100 to get what the developers left out of the game. There is a lot of DLC. It is expensive. I kind of wish I could buy Gal. Civ II instead. Alas, Steam doesn't offer it. so I play this one. I happen to like most of it. You can design your own ships. Also, I like the modular approach to your space stations, where you add components for defense, manufacturing, and so on. The research tree is extensive and allows for specialization. As for the controls, they are easier to understand than a lot of more popular 4k. There are some troubling aspects to the game, however. The computer seems to have a definite edge over the player, expanding faster in every way: tech, planets, warships. Never a fast builder, I found myself hopelessly behind in every way. Traveling across the galaxy proved troubling once I got to a certain point. Did I need to update my engines? Did I need to find a wormhole? It became very frustrating not being able to easily explore the galaxy. Most troubling: the price. This game has been out since before covid or the release of the last Star Wars movie, but they still want $40 for this. Then there are the endless DLC. For the price of all the DLC you could buy two more full price games. conclusion looks good with an easy interface. However, it cost way too much. Get it on sale.
Great game
It's a good time killer
Cool
Godt gedigent spil, men det er meget tungt og der er mange lange load sekvenser, som gør det lidt trægt at spille.
Good Game
Good.
