Tags: Tactical - Sci Fi Sandbox Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from library TLDR: Would rather be playing Everspace. No Xbox360 pad support. Art assets get distorted when manually selecting a widescreen resolution. Wave based game has balance issues with foes either not doing enough damage to penetrate shields while kiting or large bulletsponges that do ton of damage. A lot of sprites are just untextured black space with untextured neon 3D geomtric shapes floating in them which was odd. The campaign mode does a good job of gradually introducing you to the user interface but it is not really tempting to grind missions and do the tedious travelling from place to place on such a limited ambitions title when you could sink the hours in an experience that is actually worthwhile.
Don't waste your time with this game even if it's free.
Cannot recommend this game. Nothing fun here for me.
I got this game for free like four years ago or something on Steamgifts. It was a massive giveaway, like 15k copies or something. It's one of those games you will enjoy for like fifteen minutes, then you wonder what the point is. It is not a well polished game, it only has one strength as that is concept. Implementation, the more important quality, is lacking. It's cheap for a reason, online is dead. I would argue it's not worth a buy, there is just far too many games out there for mediocre games like this to eat up your wallet.
A game made in 2014 that plays like it was made years before that. It's barely functional now.

There's nothing specific at fault in the game, it's just missing a reason to want to play it.
Something something space shooter, I did not get what was happening, I just shot my colourful beams and killed people in outer space...
