In the year 1000 AD, your king, the strongest sorcerer in the land, has failed to defend against an enemy alliance formed specifically to crush your kingdom.
As a last-ditch effort, he opened a portal to the year 3000 AD, where the fragments of a powerful weapon lay dormant. The king’s orders were simple: get the fragments and return home safely. The magician who brings back the most fragments will become the king’s right hand woman, with all the power that brings.
Immediately after traveling to the future though, you're faced with "The World Organization for Regulation of the Masses" (WORM), the global power that's outlawed sex to increase productivity.
Thus, the people from this era are very, VERY desperate for sex...

This game isn't labelled as early access on steam, yet the warning at the start of the game says that the game is in an early state will be completed by 2025. First area is good proof of content, art is great and the music is decent. Gameplay is serviceable with an interesting alignment system, although I feel that system could be communicated a bit better and have some tweaks to certain values. I feel they've improved on the whole "H-scene after defeat" design, but I fundamentally believe it is poor design regardless. There's a lot of emphasis on not reading the information logs that you get in game, as you don't have time and need to collect all the fragments as quickly as possible. Although I'm still unsure if time actually is a factor in this game and I'm actually missing optional content because I'm listening to the dialogue and focusing on the main goal. Environments feel pretty bland, level design is very "standard" and you should go in not expecting anything new or surprising. The puzzles are really easy. Item wise, within the first area I basically equipped a build that made me only take 1 damage from enemies and just did a pacifist route. An easily noticeable example is that after the first area, there's missing voice acting in main scripted segments. Simple level design such as: At the start of the third area you gain a new ability, it doesn't tell you anywhere the controls to use it(as established after getting the first ability) and then locks you in a small part of a room until you can use it. It took some walking around in the tiny space before I was given a suggestion to use my new ability(still without any button prompts). One of the map names is "Exclude per task 32 ASAP". There's apparently more information about updates on discord and other social media, but this isn't discord or other social media. The devs are presenting their game as a full product on this storefront and then providing something that is unfinished. This game has also been in development for almost 10 years at this point from the looks of things. I'll check up on this game later to see if I should change my review, I'm aware other reviewers say this but then don't check, but I will. EDIT: After the 4th level, theres a warning saying the next area is placeholder, with a lack of written dialogue and any existing dialogue being a placeholder. Reminder that this game isn't being sold on steam under early access, but as a full title
Game's promising and pixel art is great (CG art is a bit mediocre and low resolution), but the game is still blatantly unfinished, with placeholders and incomplete voicelines everywhere near the end of the game.
I've been meaning to finish this game for a while, and I finally did it today! (Got ending #12 if you're wondering). And wow, I definitely enjoyed it! The art style is neat, scenes (not just NSFW!) and character interactions are all voice acted (mostly anyway), and the gameplay is challenging but fun! The fact that your choices lead up to 21 different endings is super awesome, it's nice to see that your actions have consequences! Although understandably tedious if you want to legitimately get every single one (I will admit, I altered the global data, but only because I wanted to view all them! And I almost always play the "good guy" when I play games, so I doubt I'd ever end up getting the "Violence" and "Hatred" related endings :P). Oh, and I did get 2 Faux endings too! Wonder what all the other fake endings are. I've completed all the area-related achievements, and had fun figuring them out as well, although I did look up a few since they are quite specific but I managed to get them in this run! Ocasionally I had to reload the saves to get to the previous areas and do those achievements (I didn't do all of them before moving onto new areas half of the time), and I s'pose an ability to teleport to past areas would be nice! Sure, some achievements are super specific to the boss fights so you will have to reload/replay, but going back if you missed something else would be a nice touch, even though this game is not a metroidvania. I will be replaying Future Fragments, well, in the future (no pun intended); I'm looking forward to completing it when all the content is fully polished and the DLCs are out!!! Thank you for crafting this great experience Devs, hope you're able to finish polishing and adding on to it all to your liking!! :3
very good game unfortunately i had to refund it due to me being in a steam family with minors so they cant see me play this hopefully they wont read this review either its very nice game i give it a pineapple out of 10
Pros: -I like the idea of a NSFW game that takes its plot seriously. This game is very heavy on worldbuilding, which interested me when I played the demo. Even the sex cutscenes often had Talia pursuing information for her mission. -The alignment system was a neat addition to a metroidvania. -Pixel scenes were nicely done -Achievements had a real benefit of unlocking an extra pixel scene for each level, and were mostly fun to accomplish. -After completing a level you can view all of the other scenes and animations without having to have died to each enemy. Cons. Hoo boy, there's a lot that invalidate the work that went into building up the game. -Unfinished. As others have mentioned, it's not done. Some of that is ok if you go in knowing it's not done, but key plot reveal text at the end of the game is completely absent. -AUDIO LOGS SHOULD PLAY WHILE YOU WALK. More than anything, this ruined the game. For all the plot in the game, nobody has time to sit through hours of fluff to find what is relevant. The game tells you to listen to them later, then seems to allow you to miss content if you didn't listen to them, hidden behind several menus. -Menu navigation in general is bad. Too many layers, and needing to scan the nonsensical items every time I want a certain effect is a big waste. -Lots of minor character information that seems relevant to remember or can be messed up through no fault of your own by taking the wrong pathing first. No idea if this affects anything but the alignment stats you gain or lose. -This game does not have the replay value to justify 21+ endings. -Final boss is 100% quick-time events. This is a big no-no for this style of game, where you collect power ups and build your skills at playing to put them to a test. It's relatively well done, with fun music and good animations. -Vie's level 3 personality switch is grating, but seems to be some WIP change that made her more serious later. -Level design is too repetitive, and the characters even comment on how tired they are of "go to the end of 5 routes and do a thing." If you have to write that into the script, it's a bad sign. -Although the game was 10 years in production, combat feels like it's 30 years old. Another commenter gave it the label archaic, and unfortunately they're not wrong. I don't get why it takes a power up to shoot diagonally or downward in the air. Half of these things could have been early permanent upgrades if the dev really wanted to start simple. -Overall too many time-wasting moments, especially dialogues that go nowhere far too late in the game. If it's only going nowhere because I missed a plot point or don't have the right alignment stats, it would help to have more indication. Otherwise, these should just be cut.
This game is utterly dreadful. You may be tempted to give it a try because it’s bundled with so many other games… DON’T DO IT. It’s a shame because the game is clearly high effort with the art, animation, voice acting, etc. All of that is for nought when the game itself isn’t fun. The stages are filled with pointless npcs that don’t have anything interesting or helpful to say at all. There’s a lot of attempts at comedy but not a single joke landed for me. For extra salt on the wound the adult content is mediocre.
It's a good mix of sexy and funny, but mostly funny. the controls don't allow you to play one-handed. it's not too hard to start off, it's more platform puzzle than action. Going by the gallery there is a lot of scenes that would be hard to get without a guide. the map is pretty decent for collection going through the first two bosses took about 6 hours and i am still missing some of the npc scenes for those areas
I wish I could refund this game even as I bought it on sale. Listen the game at first is fun until level 3 and half the time you are struggling to get one fragment and guessing what skills you got. Also the whole "are you old enough to play this game" after I just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bought it is stupid like DUH YES IM WELL PAST 18 YRS OLD THANKS. And why is saying all updates completed after it already been well released by now??? Now, listen, the scene are good no denying that but the gameplay has much to be desired and I TRULY MEAN TO BE DESIRED... And take out that stupid "are you 18 yrs old of older" nonsense like come on the it already been purchased!

Garbage, too janky and primitive, don't bother.
