Online Multiplayer is busted
A wonderful way to experience the board game against the bot. At a certain experience level you realize you need to play with people to get that challenge but in the meantime it's a great experience. MY GRADE: A minus (until the bot keeps losing to you)
nice game!!!
Just like the board game!
This game is great for one reason above all -- the actual boardgame fury of dracula is a terror to set up, play, and interpret the rules... This game automates and animates the process so everything is not only easier, it looks cooler. Fans of the boardgame or people who found the physical boardgame intimidating (like me) will like it just for that reason alone, but it's merits don't stop there. The game is fun as the hunters and even more fun as dracula and provides a great PvP or co-op experience (or both!) with your friends. Trying to deduce where dracula has been and where he is going is terrific fun and a job well done feels very rewarding. Sending the hunters on a wild goosechase is equally rewarding as dracula as you go from eluding to punishing your hunter enemies. The downside? Better camera controls would have been nice but that is a really small issue overall. The real flaw in the game is that the AI for Dracula isn't really that smart it seems -- which is unfortunate, because the game really shines it's best when dracula is pulling all the strings and calling out all the shots masterfully. So an experienced player doing Dracula is going to be more rewarding than the clumsy AI Dracula that if your team is smart, can corner and beat up in the first 10 rounds of the game. Overall though, It's a great game for the price, and if you love co-op as much as I do, it probably has a place in your library. Recommended.
One of my fave board games to play with friends, excellent video game version
Pretty fun!
I got this physical board game but never actually got around to try it out.. this digital edition is excellent since i now dont have to learn the entire rulebook but can still enjoy it and have good fun with friends online. Very exciting to play dracula and sneak around and sometimes just sneak past the hunters hoping not to get caught. i recommend this :)
