About
Welcome to Funnel Runners, where you will have your first on-site deployment with APEX Storm Monitoring Services.
A high-priority F5 tornado is approaching, and we are counting on you (and up to 7 fellow friends) to collect data, scavenge necessary information, and, of course, survive.

The weather is your worst enemy here. Tornados and storms will spawn randomly, grow stronger over time, and tear the whole map apart. Buildings will collapse piece by piece, and items will no longer be found in destroyed areas, so you must adapt quickly. Be careful not to be swept up by the wind; you may not be found again.

In this mission, you can team up with 7 other players or tackle it solo. Share gadgets, split up to cover more ground, collect necessary information and items to fix the van before the situation turns bad.
With realistic graphics and a first-person perspective, the experience brings you close to every gust of wind, distant siren, and falling piece of debris.

Scavenge the collapsing city for scattered vehicle parts, fuel, and tools. These items will allow you to repair your van and help you survive the storm. Each playthrough features randomized environments, weather, items, and problems to solve on your vehicle. No playthrough will be the same.

its fun
If you've never been afraid of tornadoes in video games before, this game will fix that. lol Somehow this game is both goofy and legitimately scary at the same time. Mainly because of how realistic the storms and tornadoes are. So if you've ever actually been in a tornado situation before in real life, and or have PTSD from it, you probably shouldn't play Funnel Runners. 10/10 Would Highly Recommend, unless you're a ♥♥♥♥♥. lol

Great game but the loop has run stale. i know more to come and i cant wait. I would love to see new things added such as fire extinguishers and maybe even see houses that get struck by lightning catching on fire. perhaps we need to use fire extinguishers to save someone from a house they are stuck in if it caught fire. streets flooding would also be a nice touch in some situations because that could bring a movement speed reduction if we have to cross the street to get to a house while a tornado is heading towards us. I also would love to be able to just speak into the walki talki by just pressing V at any time rather than needing to scroll to it. not being able to speak while holding items like umbrellas is odd to me because we have 2 hands. VAULTING over fences would be amazing. as of right now we cant jump high enough and some areas dont have exits or are slightly too high for players to jump over so we have to run all the way back around. love the game and it has so much potential!
Game is half cooked, it needs more maps, more variety fast. Right now its just a tech demo but a pretty fun premise.
I can finally larp as Reed Timmer
Even though I just have under 2 hours at the time of me writing this review I can say for certainty that this game is incredible It's very unique in the sense of natural disasters and it's a type of game I have longed for, for many, many years. Tornados have been one of my childhood fascinations and watching storm chasers was something that I loved doing. Even though this game isn't really revolved around storm chasing and more or less surviving the Tornados it still gives me a sense like Bill and Jo from Twister running away from these enormous tornados to save my life. Though I will say there are some things that I will deem as annoying and can hopefully be added in a later update and that is the flashlights and radio. At the time of this review, I haven't found a way to keep the flashlight on and switch to another item that I am using which depending on the time of day on your level can be awful to run through a pitch black neighborhood alone with a part. And honestly the radio idea is great, but again it would be amazing if we didn't have to pull it out just to use it. Overall, this game is so much freaking fun and it gets your heart pounding, and I highly recommend this to other people without a doubt, so there's just some minor annoyances that are nothing severely deteriorating to the game.
Not enough content right now but has promise
First of all GREAT POTENTIAL. The core gameplay is really good and interesting, the game has a perfect "fun-factor" and I really like how it is lethal inspired. About the performance, with the specs I linked to this review it is playable at 1080p, 50-60 fps most of the time which drop during intense situations (near tornado, storm, etc) bot it keeps real smooth so optimization wise it's perfect. I do think there are lots of improvements to make but seein g this is an early access from 1 month ago there's nothing to complain about. some of the lacks are: -lack of gameplay variety -no progression (almost) -the animations maybe? I don't include maps 'cause I know for sure that's already in progress. I really hope this game keeps taking some stuff from lethal and finding it's unique-ness at maps and different gamemodes.
Fun game with the friends!
