About
Welcome to Funnel Runners, where you will have your first on-site deployment with APEX Storm Monitoring Services.
A high-priority F5 tornado is approaching, and we are counting on you (and up to 7 fellow friends) to collect data, scavenge necessary information, and, of course, survive.

The weather is your worst enemy here. Tornados and storms will spawn randomly, grow stronger over time, and tear the whole map apart. Buildings will collapse piece by piece, and items will no longer be found in destroyed areas, so you must adapt quickly. Be careful not to be swept up by the wind; you may not be found again.

In this mission, you can team up with 7 other players or tackle it solo. Share gadgets, split up to cover more ground, collect necessary information and items to fix the van before the situation turns bad.
With realistic graphics and a first-person perspective, the experience brings you close to every gust of wind, distant siren, and falling piece of debris.

Scavenge the collapsing city for scattered vehicle parts, fuel, and tools. These items will allow you to repair your van and help you survive the storm. Each playthrough features randomized environments, weather, items, and problems to solve on your vehicle. No playthrough will be the same.

Incredible experience so far. Fix the random crashes and this game will be huge.
The game is really fun but one thing. And it’s expected the optimization isn’t the best honestly I would really give it a 10/10 if the optimization was better but I hope that they optimize the game for handhelds like steam deck or rog ally etc other than that it’s an really good steam deck game

My very first session with family: Struck by lightning then immediately sucked into tornado. I then hid in the truck for a couple sessions ("managing stuff") and accidentally locked my brother out as a tornado came by and got him. Got braver and we've played over a dozen times since!
Funnel Runners is a really fun game that’s easy to pick up and get into without much of a learning curve. We had a good time playing through what’s here so far, and it definitely has a lot of potential. Can’t wait to see more content added because I’d happily come back for more.
Lazy-ass Dead By Daylight-esque QTE to fix the truck, get out of a manhole and to use a crowbar.. put something fun in there instead. Let me use the crowbar to smack the planks, let me pump the jack and pull off the tires, let me pour the fuel, coolant and oil in the tank, make fixing the truck fun instead of a lazy QTE skill check. Still a fun game and looking forward for updates.
Per - https://www.epa.gov/acidrain/effects-acid-rain Walking in acid rain, or even swimming in a lake affected by acid rain, is no more dangerous to humans than walking in normal rain or swimming in non-acidic lakes. However, when the pollutants that cause acid rain —SO2 and NOX, as well as sulfate and nitrate particles— are in the air, they can be harmful to humans. SO2 and NOX react in the atmosphere to form fine sulfate and nitrate particles that people can inhale into their lungs. Many scientific studies have shown a relationship between these particles and effects on heart function, such as heart attacks resulting in death for people with increased heart disease risk, and effects on lung function, such as breathing difficulties for people with asthma. Will change review to positive once acid rain is removed from the game. 5/10 with it 8-9/10 without it.
Unironically one of the SCARIEST games I've ever played, and I've played some pretty scary games. It feels like a Storm Chaser's nightmare, having your van break down in the middle of a tornado outbreak, and having to fix it before a massive EF5 tornado coming in from the horizon just wipes out the whole area. I've only played solo thus far, but I find it's still enjoyable.
GREAT GAME, EXPECTING MORE CONTENT (E.G TSUNAMI WARNINGS , ETC). IN THE FUTURE
This game by far is my favorite game involving tornados and I’ve played some tornado games that weren’t giving a scary vibe at all but this one hits different. I love how I’m actually scared of getting attacked by tornados and every game is a bit different and not the same thing over and over. People may find gameplay repetitive boring but I can play this game for hours lol. As a tornado nerd, I give this game a 9/10! Very much recommend and super fun with friends.
Very nice for an EA launch! Looking forward to seeing how the game grows! Encountered a weird bug when streaming, where the NO SIGNAL screen would cause OBS to disconnect from streaming and constantly try to reconnect, had to reboot to fix it, very weird!
