I love it
This game is WILD fun! Really solid for it's current state of development. Scratches the LONG overdue itch that Vigilante 8 and Twisted Metal used to scratch.
very gud

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reminds me of Turok.
All of my friends and I are OBSESSED with this game. We love the cars, the customization, the physics, the weapons. It just feels great to zoom around. I basically stole it, at only ~$8 on sale. The foundational gameplay is so solid, we're just dying for more content as quick as we can get it. We also got a major kick out of the addition of Multiplayer. It runs flawlessly; the way it's designed lets you keep whatever drops for you as you Do Things and you advance the host's bounty board. If you're caught up with the host, you keep the world progress too! We used this feature to keep leap-frogging through the game, occasionally "back-tracking" to the furthest-back Host when someone (or multiple people) plowed ahead on their own (forgoing sleep for More Game). My STRONG recommendation is to give the Demo a shot. It's The Beginning of the Game 1:1 and your progress carries over into the Full Game. At time of writing you have technically seen "everything" gameplay-wise by the end of the Demo, but the draw of More Cars, More Guns, and More Shapes for the Livery Editor kept everyone LOCKED IN. Every time we said/thought "It would be cool if they did X", the developers already had that same idea and implemented it. Raiding a Convoy was cool, before you even get sick of doing those you start seeing Friendly Convoy Escort Missions. You're Cars, so obviously you want to Race, right? Of course there's races! The neat thing about them is that they're randomly generated IN whatever area of the map you're currently roaming/launching the events in. This has three cool effects: First, the different scenery and traction of each biome means that it always feels like a "new map" relative to the other races you've done. Second, because the actual POSITIONS and rotation of every Checkpoint is semi-random, You AND the AI racers AND your co-op partners are all figuring out the "optimal" route(s) through the criss-crossing laps IN REAL TIME on-the-fly. Third, this means that the "fastest" Car/Suspension is not always the most efficient chassis for Winning Races. Sometimes you genuinely need the traction or the turning speed of Treads or APC/Rover wheels in order to navigate rapid series of tight turns, high-angle slopes, thick mud, or loose gravel. It's also worth bearing in mind that a small car is nimble but it's also LIGHT; you can be knocked off course or spun out easily in collisions with larger/more powerful cars. They turn off the weapons for Races but that does NOT mean it's not a Contact Sport. Then right as you think you've Seen Everything, Done Everything, that's when the BIG Bosses show up. The pictures don't do them justice; I won't spoil any of them, just don't even look because they're best experienced in blind disbelief at the scale of them. Playing Shadow of the Colossus but with Mad Max Battle Cars is so fun that everybody was almost bummed to go back to "regular" cars for Boss fights in between; tempered only by the fact that "normal size" bosses meant New Chassis/Weapons. If I had any lingering desires for game content beyond simply "More", it would be two things: I would like to see the Cargo/Anomaly systems fleshed out a bit more, and I would KILL for just a touch more "hands-on" Modding/Custom/Imported Content. The game's low-poly PSX style would hopefully lend itself well to a simple Modding/Custom scene where we could make Chassis/Car Parts, Wheels/Rims, Weapons, or whatever else, and add those assets to the list of pieces used in the hardpoint-based car customization system. There may be backend headaches I can't see/predict, but from the Player-Side it seems like the hardpoint system is already designed to make adding New Assets to the game more streamlined as the game evolves/grows through Early Access. This would just be the same as adding any Official Dev Assets, just from a local/community source. It's a nice-to-have thing I'd like to see, but honestly I already fully Recommend this game as-is. Everything added to the game from here on is a Bonus as far as I'm concerned.
