This game is not easy, but the controls are *mostly* simple. The timed sections are not my favourite, but it is a very forgiving game. If you like block puzzles and intriguing stories, it's a must have.
A lovely little puzzle game with an interesting background story that you have to look for to really figure out whats going on in this uniquely constructed world where Boars mine the earth. A slight warning that if you aren't into block pushing puzzles then this is not for you as that's all the puzzling entails. Having said that this was my first time tackling a puzzle game of this type and I found it very fun with plenty of "aha!" moments and a few "oh I was overthinking it" puzzles. It even has a very useful rewind function for when you accidentally push a block you didn't mean to or realize after looking at it you had the solution a few moves back. One last thing I would add is that the final "boss" (a series of puzzles in a row) being timed was the only time the game truly frustrated me as it was very strict and the only time the rewinding mechanic wasn't as helpful.

It's one of those games that reminds us of the good old days of gaming. A very underrated puzzle platformer with great atmosphere, great music, lots of exploration and puzzles. Finding everything is a real challenge. It's not short so it's well worth even the full price. As for the cons, it runs at a fixed and small resolution so everything looks huge on large monitors. A cool metroidbrania game with a very nice early-2010's aesthetic. This doesn't play like most puzzle games; its approach to timing puzzles and movement might be frustrating to some players. But for me, its unique approach to puzzle gameplay is charming.
An semi-open-world block puzzle with great graphics and music. Some of the puzzles can get fairly difficult so no shame in looking up help if you get stuck.
Very few games can hold my attention as long as this game did. To be honest, it took me a few failed attempts at this game before I could get into it, I'd start then get overwhelmed by how open it is then get lost then give up. But once it clicked, I fell in love with the game. Be warned tho, although this game is tagged as casual, it is far from easy. It's fairly challenging to even get the incomplete first ending, and quite difficult to get the proper ending. The puzzles are extremely well designed, and very satisfying to solve. I loved these puzzles so much that I intended to 100% the game and cleared almost every challenge, but gave up because of the race and the final boss chase sequence. Unfortunately, any sequence in this game that involves time pressure really highlights the clunkiness of the controls and how broken the time rewind feature is. The most frustrating part with the controls during these sequences is the delay before your character jumps off a ledge. It makes sense in puzzles because it prevents you from falling accidentally and screwing up a puzzle and having to rewind, but during a race or a chase, it's frustrating having to hold the direction for two seconds before your character decides to finally move his ass, and I end up mistiming my inputs because I didn't hold the direction long enough for your character to actually jump. As for the time rewind, it's unreliable and broken. When you rewind, the points in time you go back to are few and extremely random and change every time you rewind. So if you want to redo a specific sequence multiple times, good luck, because the next time you rewind you may end up twice as far back as you were the first time you rewind. And in the final boss sequence, the very long gauntlet-like chase sequence, the rewind would sometimes instantly teleport me back to the start. I'd hold down rewind and then be teleported back to the start before even letting go of the button and lose all my progress and have to do the whole darn thing over again. That's what made me give up. Looking at youtube, the actual fight is equally tedious and frustrating, so it's not worth it to me. That's a lot of complaining, but keep in mind that my complaints only apply to about 5% of the game, and absolutely adore the other 95% of the game. This game might be rough around the edges, but it's still an amazing puzzle platformer with great atmosphere and a good story to tie it all together. Would highly recommend.
It's criminal that this game is so underreviewed. If you like exploratory puzzle games, you should give this a shot.
Full Bore caught me completely off guard — I picked it up in a bundle expecting a forgettable little digging game and ended up sinking 20+ hours into one of the most cleverly designed puzzle games I've played in years. The block manipulation mechanics seem simple at first, but the variety and elegance of the puzzles is genuinely impressive, and that satisfying 'aha' moment when you finally crack a tough one never gets old. The open world exploration has a real Fez-like quality to it, with a surprisingly compelling lore hidden in terminals and texts scattered throughout the underground world. Fair warning: the controls take some getting used to, and a couple of timed sections feel out of place in an otherwise thoughtful, unhurried game — but the rewind mechanic saves you from most frustration. If you enjoy puzzle games and don't mind doing a bit of wandering, this is absolutely worth your time.
Fun game for people that like puzzles.
