Not a game, but more of an amazing artistic experience. Very liminal in a way that most of the liminal style games don't manage to nail, and the sound is amazing. Highly recommend for those looking to play something while in an "altered state" :)
Game is Free on Itch. Don't Buy on Steam. no fps cap so you'll get 10 trillion fps at all times 10 minute unskippable intro cutscene 9 minutes of unskippable black screen intro with a few flashing lights and barely immersive audio lots of nice grey architecture sporadic use of colored fog lots of assets have gaps or have clipping issues no alternative pathways, all fade to black triggers go to the same place no pausing or options or sound control no exit game at the end just a black screen not really thought provoking or interesting, worse than NaissanceE visually but doesn't have annoying heartbeat audio. completely abandoned by the developer day 1

10 minute intro, running 4k at 600fps and boiling my gpu. Finally get to a bridge, miles away from a building and I cannot run... so it takes me about 5 minutes to get there! I decide to close the game so I can use nvidia control panel to limit fps. Load the game up again and it starts from the beginning! /me goes for a ♥♥♥♥... Ahhh the 5 minute water walk! /me loses to will to live :/
Just make a video or something. It looks interesting, but there is no reason for this to be a game. The issue with a game is that players might lag into the geometry & get STUCK and have to RESTART the ENTIRE THING. Take your little Unity project & hit record & make a short film. That is my suggestion if you want to do something like this
Straight out of a video installation in a modern art museum. Not much of a game, it's an experience. The design is there and definitely on the good side of the genre. The "photo flash" and "zooming lights" scenes were so good that they could be separate art installations. However the lack of exploration freedom at times and the game forcibly pushing forward half of the time hinders the experience. Let me walk on concrete in peace please :( I can see that the dev can design great scenes but he's not letting us explore them freely. He has some brutalist-megastructure stuff on itch. Some artsy stuff on his personal site and currently works for Hinterland (The Long Dark). Definitely check them out. I don't get most of the scenes except the overall idea which is enough for me. Understanding art was never required for enjoyment anyway. I would recommend only if you're into media arts or concrete in general, otherwise you'll have a hard time sitting through it for 40-50 minutes. Also don't forget to map your controller buttons before starting.
Recommended by: Experiences Worth Experiencing
Awesome
beautiful and immense.
Absolutelly stunning, will play again.
The game is bad, but if i were about to buy anything, then i would like to support visual artist like this.
It's made for a very specific type of person. You know if you're one of them already, and yes I think it is worth it.
