PERFECT GAME TO MOLD YOUR INFANT SON INTO THE BEST RUST BOWMAN OF ALL TIME
Needs machinegun.
Fruit Hunter is basically a joke game where you are on an island with a bow and arrow and must shoot as many bouncing/rolling fruit things (that have faces, why do they need faces) within a certain time limit. The game is done in first person perspective, and there's also a slow motion/bullet time mechanic that the game doesn't really need but has anyway. Everything is presented in rather average low poly "art", but at least it's not retro pixel crap. The game works well enough and even has 4K support and a couple of graphics tweaks (FSAA and Vsync at least). Unfortunately controls are locked, but at least they are at a sensible default setting (WASD, etc). Overall I'm just not sure what the point is for a fruit themed arena bot shooter, or what demand there is out there in the gaming community for such a product. Who is this game for? The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company, or working on a more serious game that people might want to play.
A perfectly insane fruit killing simulator.
Can't even crouch or zoom in, not tactical at all m8... Seriously though, my arrows just go through the freaking fruit, and for some reason this game seems to make my potato PC lag much more than it should.
