game dead, not working, don't buy it
I bought this game years ago and should have returned it. When it first came out, it was awful and most of the player base immediately saw that. Fast forward to today, the game has been seriously improved. Im surprised that they actually fixed this broken mess of a game. The only problem is that there are almost zero active players. So you will pretty much only play against bots. Its quite a shame because this game honestly has potential. I wouldn't even want to play against the bots though, because contrary to what they claim, there is no smooth turn. Like most control options in this game, the setting for it is non existent.
Decent for $10. Ok for $15 though I'd probably wait for a sale and get something else. Over $15 and it's a hard pass. The good: Maps look great though a bit small. Nice, (if a little cheesy) between game menu. Good for a few quick rounds. There's a group who plays every day from 4pm EST to 5pm (USA). Ultra casual fun. The bad: The mechanics. Movement is fine but throwing a grenade takes getting used to, (hint, push it like you're doing shot put). Racking a gun is a pain in the asterisk. Half the time you grab the magazine out of the gun even though nowhere near it. 99% of the time, at least with Vive wands, you smack the wand heads together trying to rack. Aiming seems off. Not making excuses but it seems much harder, (or maybe just very different) from Pavlov, Onward, Stand Out, War Dust, Half Life Alyx, etc. I'm a good shot with all of those but can go a whole round with no kills in FD. Bots aren't really very good. You can play solo against max 5 bots but it's still an easy win and as others have said, you'll likely end up playing alone unless you have friends and play at the same time every day. You can build a group that way. Overall: it's ok to play if you have a group. Even 2 or 3 players and bots aren't enough. For the price, it can be worth it. If you can afford it though, Pavlov has a ton of maps and several different game modes. War Dust is basically Battlefield VR (32x32 planes, tanks, choppers etc.) Stand Out is like PUBG. All have people on pretty much whenever you want to play. All have better mechanics.
Great gameplay and graphics. Would be a fantastic game.... except.... nobody's playing it.
非常不错的游戏可以多人联机除了AI智商低换弹比较慢别的没有毛病
compralo
there were only bots online but it was still quite fun to play
This is that kind of a game where you run into an enemy, proceed to drop your bolt-action rifle in shock, try to pull out your pistol, observe as the enemy does exactly the same, proceed to drop your pistol too (because you forgot how to charge it) and then finish the fight by stabbing the enemy with a knife. Or you get sniped by some tryhard sniper on Omaha beach, thats a possibility too... Still 1945/1945 game, would play again, wish it had more players tho
