From Nava is a short puzzle game with a drawing mechanic for casting spells. This game shows huge potential for mechanics such as drawing the way you connect the dots can determine which spells to cast. This is such an under-utilized mechanic dating back to the Nintendo DS games. I think it is such a cool and way-more engaging method for spell casting in comparison to just hot-keying. Another praise that some may overlook is the game using its environment to teach the player. It may seem like such an obvious thing but there is a key difference between blatantly telling you through a text box versus using the environment to visually demonstrate. For example, you'll need to stop wind blasts from hitting the fans in order to unlock a door. There is no notes telling you about this besides a couple of pillars nearby. There is a machine emitting wind blasts to a lone pillar which blocks the wind. This is a brilliant way of giving clues to the player while respecting their observation skills. It respects the player's intelligence to figure stuff out from the environment rather than being told to. Unforunately, the game could use some QoL for the spell casting mechanic, specifically during combat. You can't cancel drawing a spell until you connect to the last dot. Not only that but the spell is cast in the direction you are facing, so you need to focus both on paying attention on positioning and the spell you are drawing. Other than that, I highly recommend giving this game a try!

Good game but a bit too short and puzzles could be more challenging. Art is really nice.

Nekem kissé problémásnak tűnik a minták folyamatos lerajzolása. A puzzle feladatok megoldása rendkívül egyszerű.
"From Nava" is a game with a gimmick that's best described as, well, do you like unlocking your phone by swiping a pattern on your screen, and wish that was the entire crux of a game? Because this is the game for you! And nobody else. It's a 2D retro pixel (ugh) adventure/action brawler where you swipe your screen to "cast spells", and you click "Uninstall" to improve the average quality of games installed on your PC dramatically. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Great action adventure game with good skill using system and really engaging story. Thumbs up! If you are stuck someplace check out my walkthrough .
good game, good story the map was a little confusing and it was kind of hard to figure out where to go from where i tried setting the dead bodies on fire but it didn't work
