Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/N6fLN249jwI I think this is supposed to be a Call of Duty Zombies mode inspired VR game. Unfortunately, it's a low-polygon game that looks like it was made from one of those Humble Bundle generic asset packs. It's ugly to look at. Well, if it was just ugly to look at, that may be one thing, but the gameplay is also rather basic. You have a horde of zombies that mostly look the same just making a beeline towards you. You start off by choosing a weapon that randomly spawns and then just keep using that weapon because most of the weapons are locked behind a tier system. You have to beat the entire map before another tier is unlocked. So you're using your starter weapon until you clear that level. The problem is that it's just constant wave after wave of the same looking zombies making a beeline towards you. Boredom will be the real enemy. Are you able to withstand the sheer boredom of trying to beat the first level or will you tap out? I decided to tap out. I will uninstall and never play this game again. It's running on the Unity Engine. I was getting a steady 90 fps. You have full locomotion, along with smooth turning available. Rate 4/10. I'm glad I did not pay $20 USD. This game should be free to play.
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. Currently no snap turn in the game
The game is fun but the lack of settings to tune the game to your style is kinda a hindrance. besides that its alot of fun to just shoot some zombies/mutants and i like that there is a reason to play more than one round. Unlocking gear and weapons and what not. Another issue i had the lack of explanation like grabbing at your chest to pull ammo out or how to upgrade. I think with more updates this could be something great. While I recommend the game it also wouldn't hurt to wait till its more fleshed out.
Combat sucks guns feel weak at the highest difficulty melee also feel bad in this game the hitboxes are off idk i thought i would like this game but after trying it im gonna refund this game ill keep my eye on it to see if it gets better tho
It's a great game, but it stems a little too far from the original. My main problem with the original was the fact that there are guns, but no ammo in the map. My main problem with this game is the fact that there is not cooldown period between waves to prepare. It's way too rapid fire and it feels like only one giant round instead of what a horde game should feel like. I also feel like the materials are completely useless since you use them to buy guns, but you can't bring them into the levels themselves. What the original game got right was the story and this game feels like it's just another VR zombie survival game where you do the same thing over and over again just to beat the game since the guns you buy are only to practice with. What if I find a gun that I really like, but I can't use it because the level doesn't offer it?
Great fun , And Interesting concept You must gather materials to craft items and upgrade weapons Only issue is there’s no option for snap turn for us with version so had to quit playing after a short while
this is a really good game and after 1 hour of playing it was still fun. and i want to play more of it. the only problems that i have here is that first, there is a lack of options in the game and secondly, that the game is way too hectic for what its supposed to be... there is no break time between waves at all so you never have any time to upgrade or catch a breath. i do recommend playing this game but i really hope that there will be updates soon that fix the things above.
This is the worst VR game I have ever had the displeasure of playing.
