You have found yourself within this god forsaken prison. The people around you don't seem human... They don't look good or trustworthy... But you share the same goal, freedom.

I really like this game!
interesting game most impressive aspect of this game is it's visuals.
Not good. Besides having a very abrasive art style, the movement controls were horrendous. Instead of being a straight forward first person game where you use WASD to move, instead it's a myst-style click-to-move. But half the time you click you haven't a clue what is going to happen, and often times the game decides to turn you around completely. Which combined with the hideous art, is very confusing altogether. And then when you have a completely obtuse and non-nonsensical plot, it's a recipe for disaster. In the end I just ended up clicking every place I could to progress the story and get to the end. And thankfully, the game is mercifully short. Bottom line, avoid.
I'll first say that this game was made by my friend. But my opinion was not clouded by it at all. I talked to him quite a bit and I've always considered this game meh and thought it needed a lot more to be good. Before the DLC arrived, I couldn't even complete it so I just wrote it off my list. With the DLC, the game became playable. The game isn't perfect, it's a bit sloppy, it's a bit confusing at first and there weren't clear instructions to follow to play it. However, if you read all the dialog (which I highly recommend!), you'll understand everything and find your way around the place. There was one area where I'd get stuck (straight forward after leaving past the big chairs). However, I told him to fix this and he did it (just shows how much he cares for the user experience). However. I wish to talk about the good sides of this game. The technical part is cool, the game has a unique movement system that I didn't like at first, but after playing it again, I really liked it. The style of the scenes is really attractive and I enjoyed exploring the prison. The characters in the game weren't easy to recognize (some didn't look human), but I really liked all of them. I'm a sucker for a good story, and I'll be honest the story in Freedom's Eye really amazed me. At first I had a bit of trouble understanding it fully, but the closer I got to the end the more I liked it. I won't spoil too much, I highly recommend you play this game! The price is nothing compared to the experience you'll get. That's it from me. Make sure to check this game out and keep an eye for future releases! TwiliValk
Changing my review to positive as the game works now (and I finally got around to giving it another chance). It's cheap, and while short, it's by no means a bad time (except the door opening/closing noises; those are painfully loud). Surrealist hellscapes are neat and this one is definitely in line with them.
good
kinda scuffed but i like how it looks
Game needs a lot of work, wasnt very enjoyable. Typos in dialog and horrible navigation system for a point and click
wow
The visuals of Freedom's eye are great but about everything else is not. The navigation is a chore. Turning back around doesn't always work. You can turn to the right at some times and most of the time you cannot. It's not consistent at all and it's hard to tell which way you will go before clicking without a clear feedback. There are a lot of typos, this game lacks polish. Freedom's eye doesn't display in full screen correctly. I get a smaller screen in the middle with large black borders. I think this game struggles with 1440p monitors. I got stuck at a screen where you are looking at the "A" signs. You can't click through the dialogue fast enough because there is always some delay and since the game doesn't save your progress, I can't be bothered to go through it again. It's only 1€ but all those problems sadly don't make this game worthwhile.
