Freedom is threatened yet again and only Minute Man and his heroic Freedom Force can save the day in the follow up to one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2002. Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich brings dynamic storytelling, fast-paced tactical role-play, and larger-than-life characters from the comic book pages to the computer...

I miss expansion's, I wish they would make a comeback. Not many addition's to the formula but it introduces a fun narrative even if it's overly stereotypical. If you enjoyed the base game, this is a no brainer.
3/10 deleting all 2k games right the ♥♥♥♥ off my PC cause the new terms of service are kernel levels of criminal.
Actually... Awesome. This is a Real-Time tactics game with RPG elements. The graphics are old but good-looking. The music is fine. The story is a strong point. No bugs or crashes. Overall, it’s a seriously entertaining experience. A sequel to Freedom Force, and definitely worth playing. The narrative feels lifted straight from the Silver Age of comics: absolute good versus absolute evil, filled with heroic sacrifices and megalomaniacal villains of epic scale. There's a wide roster of heroes and a satisfying variety of powers to experiment with. Strategy isn’t just a buzzword—it matters here, and the combat delivers. For the modest price, it's plenty long. Sadly, a further sequel seems unlikely. The developers were truly talented, and they crafted a retro gem. So go ahead—indulge in simpler times and take on evil you can actually understand. Why don’t ya?
Doesn't work on windows 10 for me. Loading into the game and giving my first movement order, my character just runs in the opposite direction, and keeps going. The onus is on publishers selling products on a digital platform to ensure their products are still playable, or remove them from the steam store.
This is your classic videogame with heroes, sometimes even superheroes from across the entire world! Although the graphics are just as simple as the game is old, it's still hanging very well even in comparison to the nowadays' competition with the videogames of similar or the same concept genres. Not only this game can boast itself by its low price tag (especially during discounts that are fairly frequent), but the hardware requirements are.. Literally none. It'd be more of a trouble to run it due to the optimization for newer hardware, but those cases should be very rare and one in-between, nothing of the ordinary. Unfortunately, I must also mention that I didn't like the length of the story. By about three hours, I was already in and more or less finished, things being a lot more simple than I recall from those fifteen years ago when I first stumbled upon this.. Masterpiece of its age. It's short, does pose a challenge or two and requires some thought for building up your heroes (which ones to call for that mission if they're available, how to play around it the environment and enemies, and so on..). Huge applause for actually having a built-in offline mode against AI where the player can choose whichever heroes they want, edit their statistics according to their likings, and even their appearances from within what the game offers, and that applies even towards certain game modes where you choose which characters AI gets to control. Now that I'm at it - The controls are simple, too simple even, so it's back to the old school troublesome navigation that requires constant attention as if the characters lacked common sense on how to.. Say, run around the corner; Nope, you will have to move their path in a zig-zag way to ensure they don't get stuck over the wall. Heh, funny, but also mighta be annoying to some. Jumping back, this can be repeated as many times as the player decides to, offering a huge variety of possible fights, making it very suitable towards .. Everyone. The voice acting of each hero is very well done, nowadays appears to me to be more comical rather than serious, giving this game some new appeal. That said, there were some moments in the story that, when taken seriously, have moved my heart. That was unexpected, but they are there.. Rarely, but they're there and that's what's important to me. I'd definitely recommend this oldie masterpiece towards the audience that's into heroes and wants to get some feel of what kinds of games have used to come out during those, nowadays referred to as ancient times. Everybody wants to be a hero .. Right? Be it towards somebody, towards themselves included..- Anyway, Have fun! Hope you find this oldie masterpiece good enough!
This game is horrid propaganda. Gameplay sucks

This game holds up well in 2026, and there still isn't a game quite like this or any type of improvement upon the formula. There is money on the table here if 2K ever decided to reinvigorate this IP.
