cool game! really nice to see this on Steam
PS2 Nostalgia. Parkour and Freerun forever!
a game from my childhood. love it always. still nobody topped these parkour mechanics.
Игра очень устарела, управление деревянное, графика плохая.
Had this on my PSP back in the day and as soon as I saw this released on Steam I instantly bought it. You need a good skill to make nice parkour moves.
damn great game, iconic
It's like being a kid and watching the invisible man parkour outside the car window, except you are the invisible man and you can't parkour worth a damn.
As my opinion on this game is fueled by the nostalgia of playing it 12 years ago on my PSP, this review obviously can't be objective. But does that really matter? "objectively" speaking, this game is pretty clunky and not that great design-wise. Some of the levels are pretty convoluted and not in a good way, leaving not as much freedom as I would expect from a Parkour game - "Mill" is a great example, with the level forcing you into a climbing section which is pretty slow, non-responsive and gets old after the first time you do it. The movement is also pretty janky and imprecise, leading to many frustrations, especially in the time-oriented challenges. That being said.... well this game is just pretty freaking fun. You can just tell that this was a true work of passion, created by a team of Parkour enthusiasts and I can't think of another game that just *gets* the nature of free running the way this one does. Sure, the problems ARE apparent and can be really annoying, but keep in mind that this is still just a PS2 and PSP title, so I think some of these problems can be safely ignored, especially with how cheap the game is. It also works out of the box on the Steam Deck, which is a pretty big pro in my opinion.
A one-of-a-kind game that's as much fun as when it was originally released. It's bascially "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater", but "Sébastien Foucan's Pro Runner", except the licensing for him probably ran out since 2007. I really recommend the game at it's usual price, but with any sort of discount it's basically a must-buy.
Best dollar Ive ever spent
