This game gave me the absolute greatest hockey experience... It's like real life.. && it can also be complete fantasy as well with commissioner mode enabled.... Strongly suggest buying this game && trying it out .... It is definitely worth it imo especially if you love the sport of hockey....
yum
Love the game but noticed lately that randomly "accepted trades" aren't actually going through as if they didn't happen. Kinda takes the fun out of it especially after long negotiations

I saved the franchise $11M in the first year, but was given no budget to re-sign the head coach... thanks Mr. owner. Simmed to the draft day and nothing happened. Apparently Lafreniere is part of the 2021 draft now?! You need to individually renew everybody's contract with no indication they're about to become a free agent. Trades take months to complete because it takes 2 days for your offer to be rejected. On top of this, trades are so unfair against you that you seemingly need to give up 18 draft picks just to exchange similarly skilled players. This game is so incredibly user unfriendly. I like the ability to customize a contract with NMC, NTC and different salary for each year. I like the cap hit vs. actual salary difference for players like Marion Hossa. Being able to send players down to the ECHL is also nice. It's also pretty cool that you can become GM of any team in any league. Overall, FHM6 has many cool features that I wish the EA games had, but this game is just simply unplayable.
too many bugs, can waste a lot of your time if you don't save backups regularly. one example is player being stuck suspended status forever
Awesome Football Manager-like game if you're a fan of hockey.
Every once in a while, I come back to this because I figure it’ll be a fun diversion from OOTP, and every time I do, I realize it has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UI. OOTP has robust player filters and great tools for sorting what are essentially spreadsheets. FHM6 does not. I’d like to try out one of the newer FHM’s if I can get one on sale, but this one is just too much “work” to be fun, seeing as how you can’t properly sift through all the ratings and stats and such.
Why would I want to play a game with no gameplay? It's just text
what a crappy game, just dont buy it nuff said
