Forza Motorsport

Its not as good as previous FM games but its fun.

Forza Motorsport is my first sim-racing experience, and it had everything I was looking for. It’s enjoyable, accessible, and a great introduction to the genre.

好玩是好玩，就是新显卡优化一塌糊涂，开最低竟然也只有50帧...

레이싱 게임이라곤 카트라이더만 해보고, 이걸로 입문한 사람으로서 그냥 할만했음. 사실 아반떼n 타고 싶어서 산거임 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 포르자 6 나올때까지 현대차 타러 종종 켤듯!

Good game

Купил на распродаже XBOX, пока что впечатления положительные, катать карьеру на руле интересно, катать туринг в онлайне тоже весело, до ГТ3 и других классов пока не дошёл, наелся этого в LMU и Iracing. Играю на Moza R12v2 и GT NEO

真真假假，假假真真，手柄肯定是首选，但手感一言难尽，有底层的硬核但物理系统又很一般，方向盘手感也一般，总的来说没有过多突出的点，仅限热爱赛车又没有过多金钱的人入手，by the way这游戏基本上凉了，线上基本都是Pro哥，线上比赛很难入坑

Forza Motorsport macht Spaß und ist genau das was ich mir vorgestellt habe. Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Racing Game mit realistischerem Ansatz (keine Racingsim aber auch kein Forza Horizion) mit super Grafik und Wettereffekten/Tageszeiten. Und genau dort ist Forza Motorsport spitze! Das Spiel sieht grafisch Top aus und bietet sehr viele, sehr gut gemachte Wettereffekte die man auf jeder Strecke individuell auswählen kann. Ich verstehe die (insbesondere zu Release) größere Kritik an dem Spiel. Der Content im Vergleich zum Vorgänger fällt zwar geringer aus, ist mir aber in meinem bisherigen Spieldurchlauf noch nicht aufgefallen. Zudem hat man nun den Vorteil, nach Release viele Inhalte nachgebessert und geliefert wurden und das Spiel mittlerweile in einem meiner Meinung nach ziemlich guten Spot ist. Außerdem wurde das Levelingsystem mit den sogenannten "Car Point" häufig kritisiert. Auch hier wurde nach Release nochmal Änderungen vorgenommen und das ganze etwas zugänglicher gemacht. Ich finde das System so wies ist ohnehin ganz cool. Man erhält je nach Levelup des jeweiligen Autos Punkte mit denen man sich Tuningkomponenten kaufen kann. Das hat zu Situationen geführt wo ich mit begrenzten Punkten das maximale aus meinem Wagen rausholen wollte, und da das Ideal zu finden, fand ich ganz cool. Zusammenfassend: Das Spiel ist heute in einem ziemlich guten Spot. Insbesondere jeder, der auf gute Grafik und Wettereffekte steht, kommt hier besonders auf seine kosten.

If you think Forza Motorsport is a passable game, try Gran Turismo 7. Just once. Even with the limitations of the overpriced Sony console, GT7 absolutely wipes the floor with this soulless microslop product. I thought about listing the things that GT7 does better than FM8 but came to the conclusions that it's just EVERYTHING, even the graphics. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Only redeeming factor for FM8 is, that it's a title available for PC and you therefore aren't limited to toy wheels like on the PS.

It's really hard to rate this game. On one hand, the driving can feel great, at times, and the races, as well. However, the AI quickly starts to show its true colors and the Career Mode, or lack thereof, leaves a lot to be desired. I do prefer this type of progression to something like Forza Horizon where cars are just thrown at you from the start. This game makes you get familiar with each car you drive as you slowly unlock upgrades, but it does it worse that games that came before it. Overall, it is still pretty fun and I count myself lucky to be playing it after all the patches and upgrades. I'd say it's worth the money at the 50% off discount I paid for it. If I could give it a star rating I'd give it a 6 out of 10, though.
