Honestly felt like writing a review half way through, as I almost did not finish it. That is because of the whirlwind of emotion that this novel provides through a simple, yet deep narrative. Anyways, if you decide to go through this novel, get ready for tears, tears and more tears!! I almost want to say this novel is so saddening at times that I feel physically drained!! I won't go into details about the story, but there were often parallels with my own experiences that made the story feel very real at times... and in general it is easy to sympathise with the main character. One element of surprise for me as well was the music! Good lord it fits the theme of the story so well, often changing between sombre and uplifting atmosphere to complement the story! Overall, I seriously cannot recommend this novel enough, it is severely underrated!!

A short, sweet kinetic Visual Novel game suitable for all ages. I bought this game on a whim since it was on sale and quite inexpensive at that. Playtime is less than an hour, so if you're in for a quick read, this is good to go. Although the story is meant to be a bit of a heart-wrenching experience with the family and death looming over the character, I found it difficult to immerse myself fully. Perhaps there was something missing, the length? The conversations? I am not sure. Overall, the game has nice background music that does not get annoying while you read through, the characters are all pretty nice, but I wish there was more interactions before the game ended. Apologies if my review is cluttered, it is my first time reviewing a game.

Not really a game, as much as a click and read till it's over, but a great story about family, love and elderly dementia. It can be finished in an hour at most, not sure why I have 4 hours on this game, it's been hard to remember for a while...

Неудивительно, что многие именно с этой новеллы начинали свой путь в жанре! Судьба деда вызывает искреннее сочувствие. Стоит копейки, проходится быстро и не требует чрезмерных усилий. 年老いた男が主人公のごく短い幻想譚。 平易な文章で、選択肢は無く、 構成もオチも定番のものなので、 安心して読めます。 気になったところといえば、 フォントの小文字の k の形に すこし違和感を感じたくらいです。

Short yet touching. The prejudice-free descriptions about dementia are commendable especially.

the story's pretty sad and i think well written given how short it is. the graphics are good and the soundtracks good as well. its pretty cheap too and you can complete it pretty quickly
