This game gives a really strong message! love the story. as for the 1st game of the studio this is really awesome start. Good luck guys!
way too freaking long and generic. typical sad story with some motivational stuff ive seen a million times.
heavy-handed and lacking the touch of a really great voice actor, but for what it is (an indie project by a sri lankan dev team, probably single-handedly translated to english), it's pretty good and touching.
very emotional game..... love it
This is a piece of art. It's not without flaws but this is a must play for any gamer. The story was life changing. The world is beautiful. Soundtrack is magnificent. And the collectables of this game is actually fun to collect.
Nice walking simulator
I played Forgotten Hope about 3 or 4 years ago, and it's one of those rare games that stuck with me. I realized I never wrote a review, but honestly it deserves one. This was first Sri Lankan indie game i played that told such a meaningful and emotional story. (probably the only one too) It made my weekend back then. The atmosphere, music, and message all came together in a really touching way.
The game gently reminds you that even during heavy moments, there's always something to hold on to. That message, along with the visuals and soundtrack, left a lasting impression.
It plays like a walking sim, and while I wished there was a bit more dept, likee more to explore or interact with, the core experience was strong on it's own. We need more indie games like this from SL. Games with heart, intention and storytelling. Props to the devs. Y'all guys did something special. Looking forward to what comes next. <3
This game left me with goosebumps. The game navigates a very real mental health topic and does a stellar job in taking the player through the story being told. The music, gameplay, story and design all come together perfectly to immerse the player in Hope's world, and the struggle she's going through. Congratulations Blackhammer Studios on a work of art.
An emotional story with a strong message to the society. 10/10
