This game is definitely not for everyone. This is also a negative and positive point as well. The gameplay is exciting and interesting, and it contains many innovative elements (which are quite tricky compared to other ordinary pont'n'click games, but in a good way). If you play it as you were really there, it can give you quite an experience. First I was too curious and died many times, but soon I got the hang of it, how I should play it. It requires lots of patience, and at certain puzzles you need to think a lot as there's only one chance and your life depends on it. It really is a unique game, for me it brings the atmosphere of the old Fighting Fantasy books a little bit. Of course here you don't have to read that much, only some letters. The dub, the atmosphere, the sounds and pictures are all very good. There indeed are many alternative pathways and presumably different endings (at least certain items and letters in the game suggest so). However, for me only one of them has gotten unlocked so far. There are still many secrets in this forest for sure. 9/10
What I personally enjoy in point and click games is solving puzzles. I usually need to figure out the puzzle itself and give the right combination among million wrong one. I usually test my clues by clicking them. In this game I usually had to click the right button out of 4 or die. I didn't really like that.
