Strike the anvil to enhance your swords, or sell them as they are to earn gold. Train your craft with the coin you gather, and your blades will grow stronger. A fine sword brings reputation — and reputation, in time, brings more gold.

The Cat God watches over this family, always. Perhaps, one day, a special power will be bestowed upon you.

But each cat is given only ten chances. Will you, generation after generation, reach the ultimate blade known as Myo-geom, the Cat Sword?

🎮 What kind of game is this?

Forge Cat is a cozy sword-enhancement simulation built around hammering a single blade higher and higher. It plays entirely with simple clicks, and a full playthrough takes roughly 1–3 hours — easy to pick up in short, relaxing sessions.

🔨 Enhance — to shine, or to shatter

Swords are enhanced one level at a time, from +1 upward. The higher you climb, the lower your success rate, and a failure can knock the level back down. That tension is the heart of the game. Every level cleared is a small victory on the road to the +30 Myo-geom.

💰 The loop of gold and renown

Sell enhanced swords for gold, then spend that gold across three shops:

• Blacksmith Guild: learn techniques for success rate, cost savings, and failure protection
  
• Trading House: sell swords for more and build your renown
  
• The Cat God: receive special blessings woven into your enhancements

Fine swords become renown, and renown circles back as greater rewards.

🐾 Ten chances, then the next generation

Each cat blacksmith hands the hammer to the next generation after ten actions. With over 100 possible cat names, you never know who will carry on the line. Every strike is recorded in your family chronicle.

⚔ Collect 14 special sword types

As you keep enhancing, 14 special sword families reveal themselves — flame, ice, angel, cat-king, and more. Complete each set, fill your display rack, and uncover the hidden gems within.

📜 The Sword Archive

Swords forged to high levels can be archived forever in your family Sword Archive. Archived swords grant gold, renown, and blessing bonuses, plus a permanent enhancement success rate boost for the whole family.

🧭 Adventure — forging charms

Selling high-level swords yields Forged Iron Fragments. Gather them to craft a Blacksmith's Charm, which softens the sting of failed enhancements. Push onward into uncharted territory.

🐱 The visitors to your forge

Along the way, a few warm and quirky neighbors stop by the forge — the blacksmith guild, a traveling trading house, the watchful Cat God, and a would-be hero. Not grand story arcs, just small, friendly encounters that add warmth between your enhancements.
