Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The truth is in the details.
In Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, you are the scientific authority that provides investigators with the facts. Your work begins when the sirens fade and silence settles over the crime scene.

With a cool head and a trained eye, you enter apartments, bars, and basements where something unimaginable has happened — or is said to have happened. Equipped with professional tools, you search for what others miss: a subtle fingerprint on a wine glass, a deleted message on a smartphone, a tiny blood spatter that casts doubt on a statement.

From Crime Scene to Laboratory:
Securing evidence is only the beginning. In the lab, the evidence tells its story. You compare DNA profiles, reconstruct bullet trajectories, decrypt digital devices, and piece together fragments into a clear overall picture. Your analyses incriminate perpetrators — or exonerate the innocent. Not every bloody crime scene is a murder. And not everything that seems obvious is the truth.

“Based on the experience and insights of experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).”
With professional guidance from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate, the game portrays forensic work as authentically as possible. Experience cases drawn from real life: sober, logical, and relentless in their evaluation of evidence. Find the traces. Analyze the facts. Reveal the truth.

Realistic Forensics:
Use authentic tools such as DNA swabs, fingerprint powder, ballistic trajectory rods, and digital forensic tools.
16 authentic Cases, Real Methods:
Missions are inspired by real scenarios and based on the experience and insights of real experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).
Crime Scene Work & Laboratory Analysis:
The gameplay loop challenges you twice — first through meticulous crime scene investigation, then through logical data analysis in the lab.
Incriminate or Exonerate:
Your work determines the fate of suspects. Discover whether it was self-defense, murder, an accident, or a staged crime scene.
Your Instinct Matters:
You decide which traces are relevant. Overlooked evidence can leave a case unsolved.

Reviews
big review incoming: General: wish in levels, there was every kind of evidence present (excluding guns), but even in cases where there aren't evidence of a specific kind, you'd get the briefcase for it anyway There's no investigative aspects of the game, and i really wish there were Really no use for evidence folder, went through the entire game without ever using it Wish evidence was outside of the scene of the crime, and part of your job is determining what evidence is related to the crime and what's not (fingerprints, devices, dna) Prone vs crouch can be annoying at times, cause when getting up from prone it triggers the crouch mechanic. You've gotten plenty of reviews on how the tutorial is confusing and i dont feel like going into it right now, but i do wish it was more straightforwards Wish you could pick up more items or drop them where you are instead of returning them everytime, very annoying especially for bigger maps. Fingerprints: wish there were more fingerprints all over the place, and part of the job was finding good fingerprints to use— lightswitches might have a bunch of smudged fingerprints from multiple people, and you could try and extract them but it wouldn't be clear Wish putting the dust down for fingerprints was WAY faster, collecting them is a time consuming hassle Wish you didnt have to export the results of non matching fingerprints, clogs up the evidence folder matching/not matching fingerprints is not very good— the only minutiae that consistently recognizes is junctions, deltas+ends+loops are really hard to get the game to see/count. Pick up items: wish you could run phones, computers, and guns for fingerprints instead of just hacking/firing them wish you could run almost everything for fingerprints, and part of the game was deciding which items should be run/which items are important to the game devices: getting it heated evenly is a little annoying and fincky, and i wish decrypted devices would export automatically Wish there was more to do with devices— maybe the player could go through the phone themself and take evidence from it? Web of evidence: wish the web of evidence was more interactable, and you had to put together a timeline of events using it Biological evidence: wish you could also take saliva from cups or take hair from ground/hairbrushes, maybe gum or something like that, and have a special thing you need to run them through to get it. Also wish blood had more forms, like a spray of blood, or a big pool of it, instead of just small drops. Speaking of blood sprays, calculating where a victim was shot at from the blood spray could be a cool mechanic, but not necessary in my opinion Guns: spraying the laser is rather janky and annoying, wish it was smoother/uncovered more laser with the spray radius (idk if that makes sense) Photography: wish you could take photos/count as evidence things you don't interact with; fallen chairs, smashed windows, blood sprays, etc. this would be used in the more investigative part, where you would put together a timeline of events The overlap mechanic is annoying at times wish it had a bigger threshold for overlap Wrap up: I think the game has the potential to be amazing, but it needs to decide if it's going to be an investigative game or a “find evidence” game. I really hope it'll be the former, and I think it could be a very popular detective game (since there aren't very many that aren't a “one case and that's it” game) if it improved upon its systems. Best of luck to the developers :)

I've only played it 36 minutes, yes, but A: I played a couple hours the demo before it came out and B: This review isn't about the Game, but rather about the devs. This game came out 4 days ago. Got a lot of harsh critiques - some, rightfully so. And I still think there is a lot to improve, like, why do I need to put the camera out and only then can take smth else and not directly can take smth else or have multiple things in my hands or some kind of toolbelt or why is there not a single crime scene with all types of evidence and I just need to find all the evidence whatever I find and it's not "go and find" without telling what to find. Anyhow. We're day 4 after launch. We're also at Patch 4 after launch. Every Day since launch there has been a patch improving just a few things. Not perfect, sure, but in comparison to other devs who need months for fixes, this is great. I am recommending this not for the game it is right now, but for the potential and the amound of work the devs put into it
Might just be me but the tutorial I was stuck on the heating the chip part for like half an hour cuz the tiniest corners needed to be reheated constantly it wasnt immediately dislodging. Also I failed like 3/4 tutorials as my cases were insufficient evidence was gathered and conclusions werent made. I made sure like 10 seperate times that my evidence was infact NOT matching and then the game just said no you were wrong?? I even looked up a tutorial of the tutorial on youtube and literally that guys evidence was indeed matching. Mine was 100% not and still failed. Like Im not going to play a game if its constantly saying I failed even when I read everything right and did everything right. It does run really smoothly and could be fun. I just also thought I needed something more than just looking at the evidences. It just felt like it lacked the storytelling part. The evidence gathering was actually fun and photographing etc. Game just needs fine tuning imo. But it could also just be that the game is supposed to be only the forensic analysis part of crime and not much story.
I had bought this game but requested a refund. The game runs okay but it is unbelievably surface level, there's about 6 different ways of collecting and analysing evidence. There's no story or anything connecting cases, the crime scenes feel like shells of nothingness and completing cases doesn't even feel like you've accomplished anything because again, the analysing is so surface level and most of it is done just waiting for things to decrypt or DNA to run through the sampler. It just kind of feels like another simulator Aerosoft have pumped out to capitalise on the love and rise of sim games. The game also is buggy, for me there was only 4 tutorials (which were awful and did not explain really what they wanted you to do) and 4 levels which were all simple and boring. Honestly Crime Scene Cleaner was unironically a better forensic game than this. (I 100% at least 3 of the 4 levels) I thought more would unlock but none did.
The game has a cool concept and alot of potential, but it doesn't really live up to ideal. The gameplay loop is simple and boring, all you do is collect evidence, test the evidence, and submit your findings, rinse and repeat. There's little variation and no semblance of story or depth. Personally, I hope the developers change a few things up in the game, cause it is a cool idea, but just too boring in its current state. What I would recommend to the developers is try to develope a story, add voice lines and cutscenes, add more variation, and liven up the world (it feels way to solitary, add some lab technicians or some police at the crime scene.) I do hope that the developers will continue to improve
When I saw Aerosoft listed as the publisher, I was already a bit skeptical. Still, I wanted to give the game a fair chance. I wishlisted it and was genuinely looking forward to playing it. Unfortunately, the tutorial wasn't very clear and could use some improvements. The fingerprint analysis, in particular, was confusing. I didn't get full points, but the game never really explained what I did wrong or how I could improve. The UI also takes some getting used to. It's not terrible, but it's far from good and could definitely be more intuitive. What disappointed me the most was the empty, lifeless atmosphere. The crime scenes are very small, and they lack meaningful detail. Instead, they feel like soulless environments with maybe five interactions per map, all of which can be completed in about two minutes. The core gameplay sounds interesting on paper, but the execution is lacking. To make matters worse, the tutorial ended up being longer than the actual gameplay afterward, which is disappointing for a €20 game. Maybe I was supposed to wait longer for another case to appear, but I highly doubt that, since every previous case became available immediately after finishing the last one. At least that allowed me to stay under the two-hour refund limit.
I just started but I alreayd loves this game. As a kid I was a big fan of CSI and this reminds me of it. Also of the CSI pc games but without the talking to the witnesses. If these guys are ever interested I would LOVE to see them turn this to a full CSI-ask game. Understanding the comments of repetitiveness and I will update my review if I come to things, both good and bad.
