I've got a few things about this game that I don't like, but most of them are minor nitpicks. For example the main character's voice acting. The VA in this game is pretty campy, in general, but the way the main character talks had me laughing more often than not. lmao Overall, this is a fun and unique Stealth/Action game that's genuinely worth playing, or at the very least, worth looking into. Beautiful visuals and love the comic book presentation the game offers. It's pretty short, you'll probably be able to beat it in one sitting. I beat it in about 4 hours. I wish it was slightly longer, almost feels like it ends pretty abruptly, but from the look at the achievements, there is still a real ending that I have full intention of getting. Watch out for that damn drone section, though. lol
Played on my Steam Deck OLED, FORECLOSED delivers a sleek cyberpunk experience with a striking graphic-novel aesthetic. The comic-book visuals—panels, full-screen transitions, and in-game "cinematics"—are its standout feature, blending gameplay and art seamlessly. Evan Kapnos’ fight to reclaim his stolen identity offers a tense, conspiracy-driven story, though it wraps up a bit too quickly (2-4 hours). The Good: -Unique presentation: Feels like playing a dynamic comic book. Interactive cutscenes and shifts in gameplay (e.g., hacking mini-games) keep things fresh. -Solid Deck performance: Ran flawlessly on SteamOS via a Micro SD card—no hiccups, even during hectic combat. -Fun upgrades: Telekinesis and explosive mods add chaotic flair to battles. The Not-So-Good: -Repetition: Enemy types and combat scenarios grow stale; fights start to feel like chores. -Questionable abilities: Some upgrades (looking at you, pointless stealth tree) feel underbaked. -Difficulty spikes: Certain sections demand trial-and-error patience, which clashes with the narrative’s pacing. Verdict: A visually bold, bite-sized cyberpunk tale with inventive style, held back by repetitive combat and uneven design. Worth a pickup on sale for Deck users craving a stylish dystopian fix—just don’t expect depth to match its polish. 3.5/5.

Gráficos increíbles, jugabilidad magnífica, consume pocos recursos. Muy recomendable, pero con mando.
"FORECLOSED" had so much potential with its cyberpunk comic book aesthetic, but the gameplay completely falls flat. The shooting mechanics feel sluggish, the level design is uninspired, and the story, while trying to be deep, just ends up feeling generic. The comic panel transitions are cool, but they can't save the overall clunky experience. It looks stylish, but playing it is more of a chore than anything else.
A very fun shooter game. I really enjoyed the visuals. It truly did a great job portraying the comic book style in a cool and dynamic way.
