Reviews
Forbidden Solitaire is clearly a low-budget horror card game. **10/10** The gameplay is simple and easy to understand, even if you're not familiar with card games. The music and background dialogue are top-notch. It has a late-'90s aesthetic, with the kind of animation quality that was common back then. That nostalgic style is part of what makes games like this so enjoyable. I'm not a big card game fan, but this one easily became something I enjoy playing when I have a busy schedule. You don't need to know the story to have fun with it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Yes, yes, yes!
Short but sweet, certainly worth the asking price if you wanna destroy and afternoon with a really neat game
Ok, this is so good. It's very original. A mashup of not just two genres, but I feel, two distinct game companies, a horror games company and a solitaire company. It reminds of Inscryption but it's its own thing. If you are old like me you will appreciate all the nods to old PC games from disks. I had a really fun time playing this for 7-8 hours and would consider looking at the devs future work. Oh and the solitaire itself is a lot of fun and very relaxing!
Solitaire is good, jokers are good, graphics are good, fleshy monstrosities are good. Everything is so damn good, I need to play more, let me into the game!
bro loves solitaire so bad
Loved it. The retro-vibes paired with genuinely fun gameplay is a big winner. Had a great time with this one, absolutely recommend.
I loved this game so much. As a Gen X gamer, the retro aesthetic and fun easter eggs (like the character names) thrilled my heart. It's obvious how much care and love was put into "Forbidden Solitaire," and it's greatly appreciated! The gameplay itself is rock solid. If you enjoy games like "Shadow Hand," you'll instantly recognize the mechanics. I wish it was longer, but that's just because I had such a blast playing it, not because it felt "cut off" somehow. It was well-paced and tightly written. You definitely get your money's worth. Highly recommend.
i found it to be not challenging enough my first playthrough, luckily there is a NG+ and it increases the difficultly. I wish it was longer and maybe had some more to it. But this kinda way of playing solitaire is on the right track to making these sorta games more entertaining for sure.
