Art imitates life – I couldn't put this game down. Tore through it over the course of two days. Couldn't stop thinking about it. Simple, complete, didn't overstay its welcome. The solitaire itself is so good I'm going to check out the rest of their games. The retry system is fast and fair. The dungeon bits are staggeringly good at capturing that "Myst but not Myst" feeling and this is going on the short list of games I want to revisit when I finally get that case of full-blown retrograde amnesia I keep waiting for. Just a perfect experience start to finish.
A quick play (~4.5 hours to get the end and most of the achievements) and a fairly straightforward story (the only branching path is at the end), but it's a good time.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a light, enjoyable game. It is not going to take you long to "beat it" nor is it going to have endless replayability (except for idle times), but for it's simple repetitive charm, it's just fine. Especially on sale. The graphics are rough (presumably) to evoke games of 30 years ago. The play is the same on each level, though, so if you're looking for different solitaire games, this isn't it. I liked the story, with a sort of story within a story. You can also turn it off or speed it up on any replay. But it's worth reading/listening to it the one time. Overall, I wouldn't have considered this a value without the sale. Otherwise, it's good for a couple of playthroughs and then probably file it away.

Enjoyed the run through the game. Interesting and weird story.
I think Heartblade deserves a chance at making his game, and Forbidden Solitaire is evidence of that. Unfortunately I can't see anymore so pretty great!
So far it is a great game with a cozy aesthetic. Emily needs to learn how to stop spam texting people though. maybe this is why her parents don't love her as much as they love her brother.
This game is my first in the genre and I'm loving it! There are so many variations of the solitaire with context about what is happening in the story. Can't get enough of it! I play on the Steam Deck and, after getting used to the controls, it is quite nice.
