Although the game is quite amusing and visually attractive, I will give the thumbs down because it seems to me that they have rushed it so much to get to market that some game concepts remained unclear and unused. What I mean - in all games like that, you will usually start doing a lot of manual labour, and then it will automate in time, giving you time to focus on something new or stuff like the well-being of your people. Here it is not so. You are almost at all time focused on fishing and collecting seaweed, just like you did in the beginning, and it does not matter that you have many farms - you still need to collect resources because otherwise your people die, which is the only danger in this game. Then the economy. You need to manually control each building's production, and if you forget one, you get to have a ton of a single resource - for example, if you don't make firewood automatic, you will not have what to burn, and people will die. But if you do it automatically, they will chop all the trees, leaving you with no resource for other things and tons of firewood that is blocking your depos. It is fun at the initial stage of the game, but when you need to keep doing that, it becomes boring.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I played the game 2 months after the full release so I'm thankful that the devs were able to fix many bugs. There were still some bugs left but it's now playable. I completed the main story at 26 hours. All I can say was it was addicting and I was so obsessed. I love the architect mode specially because I love over-optimizing (and maybe a little decorating). The visuals are adorable and makes decorating more fun. Good job, devs! 10/10 would play another campagn mode if the devs add it (please).
Absolutely loved this game. The balance for resources is spot on in my opinion. The little animations and where the little characters jog about and jump in and out of the water is excellent. I managed to keep all my little people alive and fed (although not always to their taste). The only thing I can find wrong with this is now I've finished it that's it. I could start again but it would just be a replay with possibly the map having resources in different locations. I'm not sure what changed could be made to make it more replayable but I really hope they find a way as was one of my favourite games ever. Don't get me wrong though as there's still hours and hours of gameplay. Definitely worth the money. Well done devs. 5 stars.

Fun game ... don't let the cartoony graphics sway or fool you. this is a classic suvivor base building game with mid- and -end-game challenges that you would find in other more serious story-telling apocalyptic games. There's some grinding but that may be just my lack of immersion in learning all the intracacies of the game. Long play time and replay value for $25 or less.
